When phoning the US from the UK add 001 before the number you're
dialing. BT charges about 24p a minute (without friends & family
or best friend discounts), if you are going to be phoning the US
a lot, you could register with a service such as OneTel
(0800 0921878), which offers calls to US at a rate of about 3p a
minute.
Remember that although local calls are free in Orlando, most hotels
will impose a charge on all calls made from your room, including
local calls. International calls are particularly expensive from
your hotel room, so buy a pre-paid calling card from the Post Office
before you go.
