Emeril's Restaurant Orlando

 

 

"Bam!" Here's your chance to "Kick it up a notch" courtesy of the flamboyant master chef who has taken the culinary world by storm: Emeril Lagasse.

Unquestionably the country's hottest chef, Emeril boasts an impressive resume. His accomplishments include highly successful restaurants in New Orleans and Las Vegas; host of the country's most popular cable-TV cooking shows; author of several best-selling cookbooks; weekly featured chef on one of network TV's top morning talk shows; and winner of the James Beard Foundation award and Restaurants & Institutions' prestigious Ivy Award to name but a few. He has earned praise from such publications as Esquire, Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, Bon Appétit, and Southern Living, and his restaurants continually earn the highest industry ratings and awards. Now Emeril brings his imaginative, sophisticated Creole cuisine to Universal Studios CityWalkSM in Orlando.

Emeril is devoted to using fresh, top quality ingredients in the dishes he creates, and employs cottage industry ranchers, farmers and fishermen to ensure that he will always get the best for his restaurants. His inventive creations are a masterwork of new tastes and textures, as he blends meats, fish, fowl, vegetables and spices in never before tried combinations. All the restaurant's baked goods are prepared on the premises. In fact, at Emeril's they create their own cheese, their own ice cream -- even their own Worcestershire sauce - from scratch. The interior has been designed to reflect the New Orleans warehouse district where Emeril's first restaurant is located. The restaurant's focal point is a bustling, open kitchen where guests can watch chefs design their gourmet creations. Emeril himself will frequently be on hand to personally greet his guests and supervise the kitchen activities. The colors used in the flooring, wood stain and millwork of Emeril's are vibrant and rich, inspired by the colors of Emeril's spices. You'll find natural hardwoods of walnut and red oak throughout, and slate flooring at the bar.

In addition to a dazzling array of expertly prepared menu items, guests will find an impressive inventory of over 12,000 bottles of wine lining the restaurant's walls. On the second floor you'll find Emeril's wine room, whose ceiling resembles two giant overturned wine casks; plus an exclusive Cigar Room. And of course, everyone can expect the impeccable, attentive service that Emeril's dining establishments have become famous for.

Guests are encouraged to make their reservations well in advance. A jacket is recommended.
