Pastamore Ristorante Italiano

Treat yourself to a mountain of pasta at Pastamoré, a colorful family-style Italian eatery. From the fresh antipastos to the piping hot pasta specialties, every dish in this restaurant will have your taste buds singing in Italian.

Upon entering you'll find large display cases full of fresh mozzarella, eggplant caponato, olives and more which can be ordered to go or enjoyed alfresco on Pastamoré's outdoor patio, the Marketplace Cafe. Open from 8:00 am to 2:00 am, this open-air walk-up cafe features Italian pastries, panini's (Italian sandwiches), gelato (ice cream) and a variety of espresso, coffee and other beverages. Pastamoré also offers a small merchandise area where Italian coffee, candy and breads may be purchased. Inside Pastamoré, the vibrant decor is awash with bright blues, green, yellows and reds. In addition, a variety of cement statues and Italian artifacts help to complete the Mediterranean ambience. An open kitchen allows guests to watch their food being prepared, and see their pizzas bubble and turn golden brown in the wood burning oven. The full-serve restaurant serves dinner from 5:00 pm to 12 midnight. The moderately-priced menu items are available a la carte, or "Family Style" which enables everyone at the table to dig in and enjoy… so be sure to bring a big appetite!

Reviews

"This restaurant is located at City Walk at Universal Orlando. We went on President's Day evening, arriving around 6:30, and had no trouble getting a table for four. Note however, that when the parks closed at 7:00, this place got very crowded very quickly and there was quite a lot of people waiting for a table. The food was Italian and there is something there for everyone. I ordered the pasta putenesca and it was very delicious. But they gave me twice as much as I could eat. My husband ordered chicken picata, which he enjoyed. The boys got pizza and spaghetti. I ordered the flourless choclate cake for dessert, which was fudgy and rich. It was decent, but I was really too full and shouldn't have ordered it, and it wasn't worth the feeling of being utterly stuffed afterward. The restaurant was attractive and almost cozy, but it was loud. The background noise/din seemed loud. The service was fine. Our waitress was prompt, attentive and efficient, and it didn't seem like we had to wait very long for our food. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Italian food. I would definitely go back there again." (6/03) Lori
