SeaWorld Orlando invites guests to start a new holiday tradition
as the park transforms into a classic holiday wonderland during
"Christmas at SeaWorld" Nov. 26 through Jan. 2.
Guests will enjoy festive new additions including a special yuletide
Shamu night
show, a new spectacular holiday fountain show, holiday shopping
and dining, and
performances from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
"Christmas at SeaWorld" highlights include:
"Shamu's Christmas: A Child's Wish" -
Killer whales and trainers share the
Christmas spirit during this special holiday night show. A live
choir and
musicians create an astounding backdrop for this touching story
of a young
child's Christmas wish to meet Shamu. Following each performance,
the choir will
lead guests out with a candlelight procession. Nightly Nov. 26 -
Dec. 30.
"Christmastide" Holiday Fountain Show -
The Waterfront is the gathering place to
witness this amazing holiday fountain show illuminating from the
park's lake
each evening. Water seemingly dances in unison to lively Christmas
music during
this new holiday tradition. Nightly Nov. 26 - Dec. 25.
Festivities at The Waterfront - Holiday splendor
abounds at The Waterfront as nightly snow flurries descend upon
guests. Carolers make a joyful noise while the little ones share
their holiday wishes and dreams with Santa Claus himself. Guests
in search of that perfect gift can peruse through one of the area's
assorted gift shops.
"Holiday by the Bay featuring the Orlando Philharmonic
Orchestra" - More than 80
professional musicians from around the globe fill the SeaWorld night
with
stirring orchestral renditions of traditional holiday classics.
Vocals by
Danielle White, 2003 American Junior Winner, and SeaWorld's Holiday
Youth Choir
accompany the orchestra at the park's Bayside Stadium. Nightly Dec.
26 - 30 and
Jan 1-2.
"Mistify" - "Mistify," the
largest, most spectacular finale in the park's history, returns
for a special weeklong engagement December 26 - 30 and Jan. 1-2.
"Mistify" will illuminate the holiday nighttime sky with
larger-than-life
marine creatures, 100-foot fountains, flames on water and dazzling
fireworks..
New Year's Eve - Music pulsates through The Waterfront,
where a live band
performs today's hottest hits in anticipation of 2005. Two radiant
firework shows, the second at the stroke of midnight, ring in the
New Year.

Special Holiday Dining:
The "Christmas at SeaWorld" cheer extends into SeaWorld's
flavorful dining
experiences from early morning to evening.
"Shamu's Holiday Around the World Character Breakfast"
- Families can have
breakfast with Shamu and his friends on a Christmas trip around
the world. It's
a musical journey from Mexico to Germany and Africa to Great Britain,
including
holiday music played with instruments from each of those countries.
Breakfast is
served Nov. 26-28, Dec. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 26-31 and Jan. 1-2. Show
time is
8:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. The cost is $14.95 (plus tax) for adults
and $9.95 (plus
tax) for children ages 3-9. Park admission is required.
The "Makahiki Christmas Luau" celebrates
the ancient holiday traditions of the
Pacific Islands with a bountiful feast and traditional music. Musicians,
dancers
and fire twirlers perform rhythmic music and dance while guests
enjoy delectable
cuisines from the South Seas. The Christmas luau is performed nightly
Nov. 26 - Jan. 2 (no show Christmas Day). The cost is $42.95 (plus
tax) for adults and 27.95 (plus tax) for children ages 3-9. Park
