Where is Saratoga Springs?
In the Downtown Disney Resort area. The Resort is directly across
the lake from Downtown Disney Marketplace.
Is the Resort only open to DVC members?
Although Saratoga Springs is a Disney Vacation Club Resort, anyone
can stay there, members or not.
What is the theming of the Resort?
The Resort is theme after the upstate New York country retreats
of the late 1800s, with a historic influence of horse racing.
What are the different areas of the Resort?
The only area/district open at present is Congress Park. The Paddock
and The Springs are scheduled to open in 2005.
What will I find in my guest room?
Studio - feature kitchenette with microwave oven,
under-counter refrigerator, wet bar, coffee maker, ceiling fan,
TV and hair dryer. Two queen-size beds and double-sized slepper
sofa, private porch or balcony. 355 sq ft.
One Bedroom - Features all the amenities of a studio
room, plus a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, ceiling fans,
TV in each room with DVD in the living room. Master suite features
a king-size bed, a whirlpool tub and hair dryer. Queen-size sleeper
sofa in the living room. Private porch or balcony. 714 sq ft.
Two Bedroom - Features all the amenities of a studio
room, plus a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, ceiling fans,
TV in each room with DVD in the living room. Master suite features
a king-size bed, a whirlpool tub and hair dryer. Additional bedroom
offers private bath with hair dryer and two queen-size beds. Queen-size
sleeper sofa in the living room. Private porch or balcony. 1057
sq ft.
Three Bedroom Grand Villa - This three-bedroom/four-bath
Grand Villa features all the amenities of a studio room, plus a
fully equipped kitchen with dining area, washer/dryer, ceiling fans,
TV in each room with DVD in the living room. Master suite features
a king-size bed, a whirlpool tub and hair dryer. Second level features
two additional bedrooms with a private bath with hair dryer. Queen-size
sleeper sofa in the living room. Private porch or balcony. 2113
sq ft.
How many people do the rooms accommodate?
Deluxe Studio - Four adults maximum, plus one child
under age three in a crib.
One Bedroom - Four adults maximum, plus one child under
age three in a crib.
Two Bedrooms - Eight adults maximum, plus one child
under age three in a crib.
Three Bedroom Grand Villa - Accommodates 12 adults
plus one child under age three in a crib.
Where are the best room locations?
When open, rooms in buildings in The Springs district will be
closest to the Carriage House and it's amenities, with rooms in
The Paddock district being furthest away. Rooms in Congress Park
offer views of Downtown Disney or the Resort gardens, and are closest
to the fireworks viewing area.
What room views are available?
Water view - Enjoy tranquil views of the many lakes and surrounding
waterways.
Pool view - Look out onto one of the Resort's quiet pools.
Garden view - Take in views of the pastoral landscape and courtyards.
What happens at check-in?
You'll receive your room key (plastic card), a small 'guidebook',
park maps, and a copy of the resort's newsletter. You'll also have
the option of leaving credit card details so that you can charge
anything you purchase during your stay to your room card.
What is Carriage House?
Carriage House is the main building which houses check-in, guest
services, bell services, dining and shopping locations.
Are there childcare facilities?
No, there are no onsite childcare facilities. Kindercare offers
in-room babysitting. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance.

Is there a games arcade?
Yes, Win, Place or Show Arcade is where guests can play a variety
of video and pinball games. This high-tech game room is located
near High Rock Spring pool.
Where can I find Disney transportation?
Buses go to the four main parks, water parks & Downtown
Disney. For other destinations change at Downtown Disney.
Boats go to Downtown Disney Marketplace.
There is also a path to Downtown Disney Marketplace and West Side.
Where are the nearest ATM locations?
There is an ATM located in the lobby area. Additional ATMs are located
at each theme park, the Downtown Disney Area, as well as all Resorts
(lobby area).
Where can I make dining priority seating arrangements or purchase
tickets?
Priority seating for most Walt Disney World restaurants can be made
by touching the WDW DINE button on your in-room phone or by visiting
Guest Services. Theme Park tickets are available at either the front
desk or Guest Services.
What dining options are available?
The Artist's Palette - Enjoy a unique dining and shopping
experience in a warm, inviting environment inspired by an artist's
loft. Neighborhood eatery and market. Eat in, take out and shop.
Offers freshly made salads, soups, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and
hearty entrees. Seating areas available. Open for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, & snacks.
On the Rocks - pool bar serving beverages.
Turf Club Lounge - Lounge bar.
Where can I buy groceries?
A small selection os grocery items are available from Artist's Palette.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, High Rock Spring Pool is a zero-entry pool featuring a waterslide.
Guests can also make use of two hot tubs. There are two quiet pools,
also featuring hot tubs. A kids' play area features pop jet fountains.
Are towels available by the pool?
Yes.
Are bikes available to hire?
Yes, guests can hire bikes, Surrey bikes, tennis and other sporting
equipment from Horsing Around Recreation Rentals.
What other activities are available?
Tennies, basketball, shuffleboard, Saratoga Springs Spa, Children's
playground, and a barbeque pavilion.
Various recreational activities may be scheduled during your visit.
Check the community message boards at Community Hall for details.
What is the Fireworks Pavilion?
Located in the Congress Park area of the Resort, guests can view
the nightly Downtown Disney fireworks from the Fireworks Pavilion.
Are there any shops at the Resort?
Yes, Artist's Palette sell a wide variety of merchandise, groceries,
sundry items, newspapers, etc.
What time is check-in?
Normal check-in time is after 4:00pm. For early travellers, every
effort will be made to get you settled in as soon as possible.
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is before 11:00am. Later check out may be requested.
Express check-out is available to guests with American Express,
MasterCard, Visa, Disney Credit Card, Discover, Diners Club or JCB.
Where do I get...?
Extra pillows, & blankets, bed rails, baby cribs, handicap aids,
extra hangers, towels, refrigerators, coffeemakers, or any other
sundry items are available from Housekeeping.
Is there a dry-cleaning service?
Dry cleaning and laundry service is available. Laundry bags and
lists are located in the closet. For same day service, laundry must
be dropped off at the luggage service desk before 9:00am. It will
be returned after 6:00pm.
Is there a guest laundry?
Washers and dryers are available at no charge and located in
air-conditioned comfort at the pool locations. Vending machines
offer laundry soap and bleach, beverages and snacks.
How can I send and receive faxes, UPS, mail, etc?
Facsimile services are availble at the Front Desk. Service charges
for incoming and outgoing facsimiles will be applied. Single- and
double-sided photocopying services are also available.
Stamps are available at the Store and a mail box is adjacent to
the shop.
Is luggage assistance available?
Yes, through Bell Services. When you arrive at the resort, someone
from Bell Services will assist you to your room with your luggage.
When you are ready to leave, just touch the LUGGAGE/VALET SERVICE
button on the in-room phone. Gratuity not included.
If I use the package delivery service in the parks, where do
I pick them up?
If you shop at any merchandise location at the Magic Kingdom Park,
Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or
the Downtown Disney area, and choose to have your packages delivered
back to your resort, they can be picked up the following day at
the Resort merchandise pick-up location.
Does the Resort have wheelchairs available for guest use?
Yes, a limited number of wheelchairs are available at Guest Services.
There is no charge, but a credit card guarantee may be required.
A limited number or wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are available
to rent at the theme parks.
