"I have read many
reviews regarding this resort from many different sites including
this one. I was so skeptical about staying there, but I'm
glad that I did. I am a mother of two and staying here was
the best decision I made. The question you have to ask is "How
long am I actually going to be in my room?" The rooms were
very nice, very clean, the beds were very comfortable. There
are NO shampoo and conditioner dispensers as I have read. You
get a little bottle of shampoo + conditioner, but why wouldn't
you bring your own? The staff were very nice and were always
around to answer any questions. They provide you with anything
and everything you need to have a great time. I was on a
budget and I loved this resort. I would definately stay here
again. This site is wonderful, I used this site to plan my
vacation right down to planning my dinner plans. Thanks!" Shannon

"my boyfriend
& i took a quick trip to disney in early december 2002, and we stayed
at the all-star sports. we were located in building 1 (surfs up)
& although we were near the lobby & pool, we didn't hear much noise.
the room was clean & tidy. the food court was decent...for us 18
year olds it did fine, but if you want something fancy, it's not
the place. the walk to the lobby & busses was 2 minutes at most.
there were a lot of CHEERLEADERS there when we went, and they would
be in the arcade at night & they were very loud!!! & at the parks,
the bus stops are verrrrrrrrry far from the park entrance, and when
we went to mgm, there was 1 bus running for all 3 all-star resorts,
which was absolutely ridiculous. we waited a good half hour, and
kids were yelling & screaming...that wasn't fun to listen to. overall,
however, it may be a value resort, but you are immersed in the disney
magic. if you don't want to spend a lot of money but still want
to stay on disney property, i say go for it. but if you're picky,
you probably won't like it." (12/02)
"The room
was very nice and clean. We were disappointed with several employee's
we met throughout our visit this time. We always valued how everyone
always made you feel special and important when you came to Disney.
This time we came across several rude individuals who didn't want
to be bothered. From the time we first checked in at the desk. We
told the girl we had resarvations for the baseball resort and she
insisted we didn't have anything in our reservation stating that
and wanted to place us in a tennis resort. We were very disappointed
because we have no interest in tennis. My husband insisted on speaking
to her manager who managed to give us a room at the baseball resort.
We found it odd the place was far from full. We had empty rooms
all around us and I don't quite understand why it was so difficult
for the 1st young lady to help us. While in the park we had a couple
rude employees one in the park & one boarding people on a ride.
After waiting an hour on line my daughter had to go to the bathroom,
we asked a women working if it would be okay to run to the bathroom
and get back on line when we return. She said sure, but when we
returned within 5 minutes the women was gone and another women working
there would not let us cut back in line. At that moment my husband
was going through the door and we couldn't join him. We also found
the signs difficult to follow, first getting to the resort & then
when we left we had trouble. We went around in circles a couple
times. Maybe it was us but it just seemed confusing. Other then
those few problems we enjoyed our visit." (4/02) Carol Peters
"The All-Star
Sports Resort was a great place to stay! The rooms were extremely
clean and housekeeping was very nice. One day they made a mickey
mouse head with ears out of a facecloth! The rooms were big enough
for two adults with 1-2 children. We found it convenient that the
sink was outside of the toilet/shower room because one of us could
use the sink while the other used the shower. If you want to be
by the pool request the "surf's up" location. Dining is very expensive
- we found that we were able to eat cheaper at Magic Kingdom! Next
time we will pack snacks. Four chicken strips and some fries will
cost around $6.00. The resort is great overall - It's not really
fancy but it's fun, clean, and a great place to stay if you have
children. The pools are a lot of fun, and characters come by sometimes
in the morning around 8am. Check-in was so easy and the buses pick
up right outside the hotel. I will miss this place - I highly recommend
it!" (6/02) Mary
"The all star
sports experience was AWESOME! This was our first time to Disneyworld
and I NEVER expected the enormity of Disney, including the All Star
Sports Hotel... It was fun and perfect for 2 young kids...we absolutely
were never in the room so the size really didn't matter....the poolside
accomodations were just right, with tables and bar right there,
good food court food too.... We stayed in the sailboat area right
next to everything, with a pool view... it was really a blast, my
kids loved it..we went to a luau at the polynesian resort...for
thousands more I personally did not see what was so great about
the polynesian We are going next month and would have stayed again
at one of the all star resorts, but we got a good deal for the Carribean
(which had been my first choice to begin with) so I am really looking
forward to this trip...LOVE DISNEY! Its my favorite place on earth!"

"We stayed
in the football section. It was very close to the food court, pool,
bus stop, etc. Everything was perfect. Very clean. We are returning
in 10/02 and are having a hard time deciding which All Star Resort
to stay at---Sports again, which we loved, or try the Movies. I
just can't imagine anything being more perfect. We thought the prices
were very reasonable, especially the chicken fingers and fries that
our boys ate several times there. For around $6.50 you got a large
amount. Well worth it. There was a large variety of food which was
very nice. My husband loved the breakfast foods and I loved the
ice cream.
The laundry facility was excellent. I had taken a garbage bag along
and kept all of our dirty clothes in. The morning we left I had
gotten up before everyone and did the laundry and just packed everything
neat and clean, back in to our suitcases. Then when we got home
I didn't have all that laundry to do before we went back to work."

"Our first
trip to Disney World found us staying at All Star Sports. Check
in was quick and easy, the staff was very courteous and helpful.
Everything was in order and waiting for us when we arrived. The
rooms were fabulous. They were a little small but for the time spent
in the rooms they were excellent. Our second trip to Disney in April
2001 was better yet. We stayed in the newly opened All Star Movies.
The kids loved it! It was neat checking out the huge movie figures
a round the complex. Our next trip to Disney we'll be staying at
one of the All Star Resorts. There are not enough of words to say
what a great place it was!
Dining at the All Star Resorts was great. We have 5 children and
there was always something there for us to eat. It was like having
a smorgasbord on site. The refill mugs were great to have too. We
bought a refill mug the first time we stayed and took that along
on our second tip. We bought additional mugs the second time around
We thought the prices were right for the amount of food you received."

"This was
the first time I ever stayed in a Disney Hotel, and Im sold! What
a wonderful hotel with great services. I went on this trip with
my 51 year old aunt, my 45 year old aunt and Im 27, and we had a
blast at this hotel! It makes you feel like a kid again. The rooms
were clean and fun, the food was pretty good, the shopping good
and the arcade fun even for those of us "old farts". I love that
they offer shuttle buses everywhere because it saves on the added
expense of a rental car and the hassle of parking it at the different
parks. I will never again stay outside the Disney owned resort area.
And i cannot wait for my next trip! Thanks Disney for making a great
resort." (7/01) Kelly
"Room and
all reception areas were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was loveley seeing the children's faces every day when going
back to the room and the maid service had arranged the disney toys
in the windows of rooms. Hope to be going back soon, I'd like to
try the Caribbean Beach but the children (ages 11 and 13) insist
on staying at Sports again. We stayed in the surf area facing the
pool. It was close to the transportation and receptions areas.
Wasn't keen on the fast food format but didn't dine much at the
hotel anyway. What we did have there was okay." (May 99) Stella
"We stayed
in the Tennis building, lower floor. The room was a little small
for 4 people but we didn't spend much time in it anyway. It was
very clean and nicely decorated. My 5 year old son was always excited
to go back after a day in the parks to see how the maids had decorated
our room window with all of his souviners he accumulated. The food
court was a little price but we found that 3 meals would feed the
4 of us. We saved money that way, and my husband and oldest son
are big eaters. The refill mugs were expensive to begin with but
they more than paid for themselves during the stay and also make
great souviners. The bus system seemed very efficient during our
stay, even during peak times. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We hope to be staying there again in a few months!" (5/21/99-5/28/99)

"My children
and I went to Disney World for the first time and stayed at All
Star Sports. We where amazed at the kindness from the staff and
how clean it was incl all of Florida was so pretty and colourfull. We
didnt want to leave really i have found my home! Thank you to everyone
who made our first holiday so perfect that we will be back."
"I stayed in the All Star Sports Resort in early May 1998.
We had a great time. If you normally stay at motels (such as a Motel
6 or Days Inn) you will most likely be happy with any of the All-Star
Resorts. If you're accustomed to staying at nicer hotels (such as
Marriot, or Radisson) you'll probably be happier with one of the
moderates. Our next trip is May 2000. We'll be staying at All Star
Music this time. I had to shorten our trip by 1 day so we could
afford to stay on site - I refuse to stay at an off-site hotel."
