Animal Kingdom Villas Construction: March 5, 2007 - April 30, 2009
The construction will occur in phases with an anticipated completion date of Spring 2009.
Most of Animal Kingdom Lodge's guest rooms are closed through September due to construction works.
All-Star Music Resort -
Grand Piano Pool: closed May 12 - 21, 2008.
During this time, Guests may use the Calypso Pool.
All-Star Sports Resort -
Grand Slam Pool: closed April 21 - May 16, 2008
During this time, Guests may use the Surfboard Bay Pool.
Beach Club Villas Resort -
Dunes Cove Pool: closed April 28 - May 15, 2008.
BoardWalk Resort -
BoardWalk Inn Quiet Pool: closed April 14 - May 15, 2008
During this time, Guests may continue to enjoy the Luna Park Pool and Villas Quiet Pool.
BoardWalk Villas Quiet Pool: closed May 19 - 25, 2008
During this time, Guests may continue to enjoy the Luna Park Pool and the Inn Quiet Pool.
Caribbean Beach Resort -
Old Port Royale Pool - closed for rehab January 7 - September 15, 2008. During this time, Guests may continue to use the six leisure pools located throughout the resort. Additionally, waterslides for children will be added at the Barbados and Jamaica village pools and enhanced children's recreation activities will be offered.
Contemporary Resort -
Tennis courts closed.
Guests may use other tennis courts, such as the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort tennis courts, as an alternative.
North Garden Wing - closed permanently.
Food 'n' Fun Center - closing July 30, 2007. A new full-service restaurant, The Wave, will open in this location in April 2008.
Concourse Steakhouse will close May 31, 2008, and be replaced by a new quick-service restaurant in August 2008. During this time a temporary quick-service restaurant will be open on 4th floor.
Coronado Springs Resort-
Jaguar Pool Slide at The Lost City of Cibola Pool: 03/31/08 - 04/18/08
For Guest enjoyment, The Lost City of Cibola Pool will continue to operate during this timeframe, only the Jaguar Pool Slide will be closed.
Old Key West -
Village Pool Slide: 01/05/09 - 01/23/09
For Guest enjoyment, Old Key West Village Pool will continue to operate during this timeframe; only the Pool Slide will be closed. The other pools at Disney's Old Key West will also be open for enjoyment.
Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter -
Doubloon Lagoon: 01/28/08 - 03/15/08
During this time, Guests may use the Ol' Man Island feature pool at Port Orleans Riverside.
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa -
High Rock Spring Pool Slide: 09/08/08 - 09/26/08
For Guest enjoyment, High Rock Spring Pool will continue to operate during this timeframe; only the pool slide will be closed. The other pools at Disney's Saratoga Springs will also be open for enjoyment.
Yacht and Beach Club
Yacht Club Resort Quiet Pool: closed April 14 - 21, 2008.
During this time, Guests may continue to enjoy Stormalong Bay and the Beach Club's Quiet Pool. Stormalong Bay Pool Slide: 05/05/08 - 05/08/08
During this time only the water slide in the Albatross pirate ship at the Stormalong Bay Pool Complex will be closed; the pool will remain open. Guests may visit the Luna Park pool complex at Disney's BoardWalk Resort to take advantage of the nearby recreational experience.
Golf
Eagle Pines Golf Course - closed permanently July 31, 2007. To be replaced with new course.
