If you've ever been to the theme parks with family or friends and separated, you'll know how frustrating it is not to be able to contact them if needed.

Two-way radios can be worth their weight in gold if you want to keep in contact with someone whilst at WDW. Here are a few situations where they can come in handy-
- You're at WDW with the kids and they want to go to a different park, or just do their own thing for the day, but you still want to be able to keep in touch with them.
- You're with friends or family, but want to do your own thing & meet up later, but don't know what time you'll be finished.
- You're due to meet up with the rest of your party, but have been held up somewhere & are going to be late.
- Your kids have gone to a water park whil you visit Magic Kingdom, but it the water park shuts due to rain, and they want to meet up with you but don't know where you are.
- You're at the same park, but want to go on different rides. Obviously the wait times will be different, so you need to keep in contact to arrange when to meet up again.

Every eventuality can't be covered here, but you can see how handy it would be to have a way of contacting each other. Cell/Mobile phones are a possibility, but call costs can quickly mount up. Another, more affordable option is two-way radios/walkie-talkies.

Some theme parks are starting to rent two-way radios, but it is much more cost effective to buy your own set, especially as they are so cheap.
