John Montagu, the 11th Earl of Sandwich, prepares his namesake, the sandwich, with his son Orlando Montagu, during the grand opening of the Earl of Sandwich restaurant. Montagu is a direct descendant of the 4th Earl of Sandwich, who invented the popular, everyday food item in 1762.
