One of the main decisions to make when planning a trip to WDW,
is whether to stay on-site or off-site.
Staying on-site (in a WDW resort) is more expensive, but has many
benefits-
Extra
Magic Hour (early entry). One park each day opens 1 hour earlier
or 3 hours later for Disney Resort guests. Full schedule here.
Convenience - WDW resort
guests don't have as far to travel to the parks as off-site guests.
It's much easier to return to the hotel for an afternoon nap or
a swim if you're staying in WDW, especially if you're staying
at one of the resorts connected to the parks by monorail or boat.
24hr magic - You are
in the heart of the magic 24 hrs a day. All Disney resorts are
themed, & offer the kind of service & magic only Disney
can provide.
Advanced Dining Reservations
- Disney resort guests can book their advanced dining reservations
up to 10 days sooner than offsite guests. Click
here for full
details.
Guaranteed admission
- On days when attendance is extremely heavy, the theme parks
may be closed, but WDW resort guests are guaranteed admission.
Free parking - WDW resort
guests don't have to pay to park in the theme park parking lots.
Unlimited pass - WDW
resort guests are entitled to buy an ultimate hopper pass for
the length of their stay, which is usually cheaper than the other
passes.
Central Billing - “Put
it on my card.” The Walt Disney World Resort identification card,
which is used to charge food and merchandise, also has guests’
ticketing options encoded on the back. The resort ID card is issued
upon check-in, and all purchases are charged to guests’ resort
hotel accounts.
Complimentary Package
delivery - Guests can purchase goods throughout WDW & ask
for them to be delivered to their resort room, this saves carrying
heavy packages around with you all day.
Magical Express - free
transport from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort.
New from May 05, more details here.
Wake up calls from the
mouse himself.
Refillable
mugs - WDW resort guests can purchase souvenir mugs at their
resort, which can then be refilled free, or for a small charge,
for the duration of their stay.
Convenient Transportation
- Leave the car keys and parking hassles behind. At no additional
charge, special boats, buses and monorails transport Disney resort
guests directly to any area in the Vacation Kingdom, allowing
guests more flexibility and convenience during their vacation.
Themed Resorts - It’s
not just a room. In the same way that Disney’s theme parks offer
an escape to a timeless land of enchantment, a walk down small-town
Main Street or a peek at the future, Disney’s resort hotels offer
a mix of adventures. Disney Imagineers have created detailed and
themed environments that include the romance and beauty of Africa
at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Victorian opulence of
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Guest Services - One
call can do it all. Each Disney resort hotel offers guest services
to arrange park tickets, dining reservations and tee times and
to provide helpful hints on setting up other activities.
Vacation Setting - Get
away from it all. Just minutes from the activity of the theme
parks, resort guests can take a midday break. They can kick back
in a rocker at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground,
nap in a hammock at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, stroll down
Disney’s BoardWalk or kick off their shoes and sink their toes
into the sandy beaches of Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Preferred Tee Times
- Fore! Resort guests get preferred tee times at Disney’s six
courses that total 99 holes of championship golf.
If cost is an issue, then staying off-site
is definitely cheaper, although savings can be made on WDW accommodation,
see money saving tips. Book discount Orlando
and Disney hotels here.
Food is also less expensive outside of WDW, but if you're staying
off-site & plan to spend all day in
the parks, that isn't much of an issue, as you'll be eating a couple
of your meals in the parks.
If you plan on visiting other attractions in Orlando (Sea World,
Universal Studios), it may be more convenient to stay off-site.
If you do plan to stay off-site, consider how long it will take
to get to the parks. The hotel literature may say it's only five
minutes to WDW, but that is probably only to the main entrance,
it can take much longer once inside WDW property to get to the parks.
Also, the roads get very congested, especially first thing in a
morning when you want to be going to the parks.
Although many of the off-site hotels offer
free shuttles to the parks, they won't run as often as WDW transportation,
which runs buses every 15-20 minutes. The buses may only run every
hour, or even two hours, & will probably stop running a lot
earlier than WDW transport. The first time I went to Orlando &
stayed offsite, the buses to the parks only ran every 1-2 hours,
& the buses to Downtown Disney stopped running at 3pm!

"Been to Disney many times as a child , last two as a parent and
stayed at All-Star music resort. We are going back in Nov 06 can't
imagime not staying in the park. Great for the kids and I simply
love the whole experience. We take our own snacks and drinks to
help defray some costs. We know going in the Disney trip does not
come cheap. I have yet to be disappointed." D from SC
" I have been to Walt Disney World 11 times, and all but once
(except for the first time) my family has stayed on-site, at CBR.
The first time the place we stayed at was so filthy that we switched
to CBR and it was absolutely fabulous. My children have such fond
memories of CBR that I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else.
Sure, it costs more than staying off-site, but it's the magic in
the air. I really don't believe that it's a Disney Experience without
staying onsite.
I have so many fond memories of sitting on the beach at the resort, watching
the fireworks from Epcot, waiting for the bus at the theme parks (SO nice not
to have to drive), and just being in the spirit and happiness that is Disney.
If you are on the fence, STAY ON SITE!!! I have stayed on and off, and know many
people who loved staying off. BUt once they stay on site, they all realize it's
not the same."
" I definetely prefer staying on site! I have been
to Disney 3 times. Twice I've stayed at the Polynesian and once
at All-Star Sports. I was very happy with both although it
was nice catching the monorail or walking to the park from the
Polynesian. However, the All-Star Resorts are much more affordable. I
can't imagine staying off site when traveling to Disney. I
don't want to leave the Disney after a 6 day stay, there is no
way I would leave every night."

"We just returned from our 7th trip to WDW on Sunday 5/1/05. Normally
we stay near the Magic Kingdom in either the Contemporary
or the Polynesian (always hard to decide which as we LOVE both
places) but this year we tried the Beach Club so we would be closer
to Epcot for a change. My daughter thought we would be missing
out on seeing fireworks by not staying near MK. Wow!!! Illuminations
every night for dinner!! We didn't miss a thing! STAY ON SIGHT
and be surrounded by Disney magic 24/7!! Yeah, kind of expensive,
but the memories and the smiles on your kids faces more than make
up for it." Don N. Fair Lawn, N.J. (8/05)
"My husbend and I LOVE Disney we are big kids and love being right
in the thick of things.. I thought Disney was oh so exspensive
but I found a really great offer that includes my hotel, tickets
to all disney attractions, meals ect and it is costing us next
to nothing! Disney offers hotels at affordable prices the value
resort are really cool and cost about the same as an off-site hotel!
So if you do your homework anyone can afford a wonderful disney
vacation!" (8/05)
"I know everyone says to stay on site but for the price difference
off site is great too. We have no problems driving (hubby drives
and I navigate) We enjoy the freedom of having a vehicle. We have
always talked about staying on site but when we can stay for about
1/2 the price off site it's not worth it to us." (10/04) Betty
"My family and I have been to Disney World 4 times before
- every 3 years (we have to save up for it.) We have stayed off-site
twice and on-site twice and can honestly say that although we thoroughly
enjoyed our first 2 visits on International Drive - Thay just can't
compare to being on-site its truly magical - you never feel out
of the atmosphere that surrounds all Disney Parks and Resorts (except
of course when you visit IOA or Seaworld of course). Driving does
take a little getting used to, but after a couple of days its great
and you won't want to give your car back at the end of your holiday
- its easier and more relaxed than driving in UK. The buses are
also fine but waiting and crowding on them sometimes can tend to
grate a little.
We're off again in July next month (can't wait) back on site - this
time to Port Orleans Riverside for a change Hope that its as good
as All Stars where we have stayed before. All Stars Resort has been
our all-time favourite so far Its got such a wonderful feel to it.
Our children are older now - 15 and 18 but will always want to return
to WDW (Onsite of course) - the age doesn't matter a bit."
"ON SITE!!!!!! Disney IS NOT Disney without staying on site.
Youre in the middle of the magic. You don't have to drive. So what
if you have to wait for a little for buses? Youre at Disney and
it feels great to know youre at Disney and not feel like you have
to drive everyday to get there. You can take a bus at any time to
go back to your resort. At the end of your night, you don't have
to drive and walk all the way to get your car. The magic is in the
resorts too! Trust me and stay on site. Its NOT the disney experience
without staying in a Disney resort. The convenience and experience
is unbelieveable!"
"We have been 5 times before and always stayed offsite and
had no problems whatsoever. We stayed once in a villa when there
were seven of us and the other times on Intn. Drive. This year we
are returning and staying onsite and we intend to still use the
car to go to restaurants and other parks. Cost is obviously a priority
for many and it can be a lot cheaper to stay offsite but you do
have to travel further to the parks. This is not a problem."
Paul Boundy (UK)
"Me and my family of 6 people went to Disney World last year
(03). We had a blast. I know you're all saying to stay in Disney,
but we didn't and had a great time anyway. We rented a house in
Kissimee, when we got there it was extremely clean and looked just
like it did on the Internet. It had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living
room, a garage, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, all appliances
and untensils, a private screened in pool in the backyeard and MUCH
more! It was a lot cheaper than staying in a Disney resort or a
regular hotel. It was really great where we stayed because it was
like a little neighbourhood, some people on the street we were on
actually lived there. Down the street was a large community pool
and a 7/11 convienience store. Also near was a Walmart Supercenter
where we went and bought cheap food, camera's, beach towels, sunscreen,
and other things we wanted to take to the parks. So in conclusion,
all I'm saying is: If you want to be in a calm, relaxed, comfortable
and convienient spot when staying in Orlando... RENT A HOUSE! :)"
"I've been to WDW three times in my life and stayed off-site
each time with my family. It was wonderful, and I loved Disney very
much ... but I have always dreamed of staying on site - I just HATED
to leave each night! Now I am married and have my own 7-yr old daughter,
and for her very first trip to WDW we are staying on site at the
CBR. I wouldn't have it any other way!! We're not interested in
any other parks - we want to be completely immersed in the magic
of Disney. Call me sentimental, but Disney is more than just a "movie"
or a "character" or a bunch of rides - it's a state of
mind, one of wonder and joy, and it reminds me of everything in
this world that makes life worth living. So for us, we don't want
to "travel to it" every day - we want to LIVE IT for our
entire stay. If you are a true Disney lover - what could be more
magical??"
"Basically - Offsite is more affordable, and onsite is comfortable.
"
"We stayed off site in 2002 and even though we still had the
magic of Disney it was a trek each day as I do not drive. We had
to catch an I ride then change at Seaworld for a Link; which was
a 45 min wait approx; then once in Disney you need to get transported
to the park you want to visit that day. It was all very tiring and
time consuming, we had passes for a free character breakfast which
we couldn't use as we just couldn't get there in time. Yes the food
offsite is cheaper but the hassle for a non driver is immense. Onsite
for us on our next visit, will just have to tighten the purse strings."
M Napier-Raikes UK
"I highly
recommend staying on property. There is nothing like being picked
up at your resort, dropped off at the front gates of the parks and
being picked up again in the evening and being dropped off at the
front door of your resort. You do not have to pay for parking or
walk a long way to the car (especially with children) at the end
of the day! SOme resorts offer a comp breakfast, but I tell you...this
is the way to go...breakfast or none!!!"
"Disney World
was always a popular vacation for my family when I was small. We
packed up the car and my folks drove the 20 hour trip from New York
to our off-site hotel or condo with two little kids kicking the
backs of their seats all the way. Now that I am in my 20's and have
lived in Europe for several years, I still love "going to Disney
World." Last year's trip was spent at an off-site hotel, and though
it was clean and inexpensive, it was NOT convenient when I became
ill on my first trip to the Animal Kingdom. Not only did my friend
and I have to cut our day short by trekking out to the car, and
then to the hotel which was 20 minutes away; we also didn't ever
get the chance to return to the Animal Kingdom due to our already
short Orlando stay! If we had been staying on-site, we would have
had time to return to the park that day. This year we are staying
at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and you can bet we'll be spending a
full day at the Animal Kingdom! I can't wait!" (4/03)
"We live in
MA and have been to Disney four times. We have never stayed on site.
We finally will be staying on site in July. I can't wait, I know
it will be wonderful. Even with renting a car and staying in the
Caribbean Beach Resort, I was able to book the vacation for the
same price as staying in the very off-site condo complex we stayed
in last July 2002. Even though we had a lot of room, we really weren't
there long enough to take advantage of it. If you check everything
out, you may be surprised that it's not as expensive as you may
think. I didn't think we would be able to afford it. If you eat
at the serve yourself restaurants, instead of ones with waitstaff,
it can be very affordable to eat in Disney." (3/03)
"I think the
answer to that quesion is dependent on the family size, experience
and your budget. We've been to disney 5 times and 2 times have stayed
on grounds and 3 times off. We've stayed at Port Orleans and The
Dolphin resort and were happy with both. Both were clean but had
very small rooms. We have 3 boys,16,13,8 and they use a lot of space
so being confined to a single room can be tough. Weve stayed at
the Holiday Inn family suites in Lake BV and were thrilled with
it also. There were three rooms to each suite and frankly it was
nice to come back after a busy day and not be crammed into a small
room.(DID I mention a free hot buffet each morning) We've also stayed
in Kissimmee at a Days Inn Suite and also at another hotel suite.
Both were nice and filled our families needs very well. As far as
getting to the park yes I would agree that the first time out it
can be tough to get to all of them. The roads can be slightly confusing.
But, If you know anything about following a map it's really no problem
getting around. If your a first timer I might recommend staying
on site just due to the fact that it can be hair raising to drive.
Anyway to sum it all up there is no clear cut decision. There are
benifits to on and off site. You just need to investigate all of
your options."
"I've stayed
onsite once and offsite twice. I actually preferred offsite. When
onsite, it seemed like we were waiting for buses all the time. Offsite
didn't take long at all to get to the parks. We enjoyed being mobile
- to go to Seaworld, and other restaurants. Plus -cost was a big
consideration. My kids are 10 and 13, so the little extras of onsite
weren't as important to us."
"In the past
(10) times I have visited Mickey I have stayed on the grounds 5
times and I prefer to do so because I have always had an older person
or children with me, and when they get tired it is much much easier
and quicker to get them back to the hotel or if they are old enough
to let them go back and relax, it saves alot of hassle and other
people in the group getting mad because we all have to go back to
the hotel."
"We've stayed
on-site once and off-site once and both times it was the correct
decision. When our kids were younger, it was great to have the option
of returning to our room at the Contemporary for a mid-afternoon
rest. The monrail picked us up in the lobby and the convenience
of being able to charge things to our room was nice. However, this
year, with the kids being older (11 and 7), off-site was the right
choice. We were able to rent a 3-BR condo for just over $100/night
(taxes incl), that gave us the option of eating cheap (breakfast
in the condo every morning saved us about $100-200 alone). We could
do our laundry (less outfits=less luggage). We were within minutes
of food stores, dozens of restaurants, etc. Plus, the Disney monorail
only services Magic Kingdom and EPCOT and their transport to Animal
Kingdom and MGM is spotty at best. With our car, we were able to
reach every park (including water parks) in 10-15 minutes. One other
consideration -- our kids aren't really into the characters, so
not having them around wasn't a big minus. If your kids love seeing
Mickey, etc. every time they turn around, the xtra bucks to stay
on-site may be worth it."
"For those
of you saying you're going to stay offsite becuase your hotel is
2 miles from "THE" park--you simply don't understand. WDW is approx.
46 sq miles in size. There is no 2 miles from "the park." -- You
can drive 10 or more miles any one which way direction just to any
of the MANY disney parks' PARKING LOTS. They're luring you --but
they're 2 miles from one of the WDW boundaries.. that's like a city
line. Would you go on a trip to NYC and stay somewhere in nj "just
2 miles away?"-- That' s broad. 2 miles from what? How often do
their buses run? WHERE DO THEY REALLY DROP YOU OFF? Most of them
drop you at the "ticket and transportation center"--which only means
you have to wait and catch a real disney bus anyway! On property
staying is an INCREDIBLE experience worth EVERY penny. Don't shortchange
yourself. It's hard to understand till you've been there! If you
don't like buses, stay at the Boardwalk, the Yacht& Beach Club or
the Swan/Dolphin-- they're beautiful lake has BOAT Tran s p. for
MGM and EPCOT [or you can WALK to Epcot in 5 min]... and bus to
Magic/Animal Kingdom/Dtown disney. I have been to Disney so many
times that I got an annual pass and am moving to the Orlando area!
My wife and I just had a Disney wedding. In 5 years and 10+ trips,
I've NEVER waited more than 10 minutes for a Disney bus or boat
or monorail--day or night.. they keep moving people INCREDIBLY--
some bus drivers are INCREDIBLY funny and freindly too!"
"Staying off
site is not as bad as most on this page suggest. We stayed at a
clean, comfortable hotel (a Days Inn) that was about a 10-minute
drive to the WDW gates. It was only $60 a night - less than half
of what the cheapest resort hotel would have been for that particular
time of year. That extra money can be used for a lot of extra souvenirs,
a Breakfast with the Characters....whatever, depending on your priorities.
And there is something to be said for the excitement of driv i ng
up to those happy, welcoming gates every morning."
"We have been
to disney 3 times with our 4th trip coming up in june...we have
stayed on site twice and off site once...to be honest either way
has been very good for us...we stayed at the wilderness lodge our
first time it was company paid (hubby won a trip thru work) although
it was great we don't have the $ for that kind of stay. the second
time was at the port orleans again very nice, however the rooms
were kind of small for the price. Our last trip was a t Holiday
Inn Family Sui t es Resort. Very nice. We had a Kidsuite which had
2 separeate bedrooms, a kitchenette, living room combo and a huge
bath. They also have a free hot buffet breakfast every morning and
kids eat free in the restaurant for dinner (although it is expensive
even with the kids free-was cheaper to eat elsewhere for dinner)..The
location was a 5-10 minute drive to any of the parks, they had shuttles
(we prefer renting a car though), Of course since my hubby is a
business traveler we used his frequen t stay points and only paid
for one night out of 8 but pricewise it is comparable to disney
moderate resorts at twice the space. Very nice if you have kids!
If it is just one child or just mom and dad stay on site but larger
families would be happy here just because of all the extar room.
(kids even have tv/vcr and nintendo in their room) I think as with
everything disney it is just a matter of preference.!!! They also
have a huge pool, playground, food court , game room and train ride
for the kids. We are staying here again this upcoming trip (free
again!!)"
" I have been
to Walt Disney World Florida 2 times now and both times have stayed
at the All Star Resorts. They are fantastic. I think it adds to
the magic of the holiday, which when your going from the UK is not
that cheap anyway so if your gonna go - do it right!!!... I am hoping
to go again for Christmas next year, and will be looking to stay
at the C.B Resort this time. I can drive but have never taken up
the hire-car facility, at Disney you can go wherever you want on
a Disney B us, and if you want to go to I.D - then you can get a
shuttle or taxi, it doesn't really cost that much more."
"We prefer
offsite for all the added extras. We chose a Kidsuite hotel with
all the extra, kitchenette etc. , I enjoy the benefits of free breakfasst
and kids eat free, since we spend no time at the hOtel ( the HIkidsuites
are wonderful) eating and sleeping are priority the rest of the
time is spent at the park which is a mile away. I found the trams,
and Disney property shuttles have huge lines . We prefer to drive
and park it takes about 15 minutes and with carseats and babies
I wou l d prefer them in their seats than on a bus. The first year
we went we spent $5000 the last two years we spent $2000 for a family
of six, and actually did more, did and bought everything we wanted
. The bulk of our expense was on food! By eating free at the hotel
for breakfast and doing the priority seating character meals for
lunch we had time to make it bakc to the hotel for dinner ( kids
eat free again) and swim in the evening . Also having a kitchen
allowed us to freeze water bottles and br i ng them with us. I Definately
would stay off site again. And the kids love having their own themed
room." (2/02)
"I think that
staying onsite is wonderful, but staying offsite is not as bad as
everyone makes it out to be. We have been to disney world several
times already and have stayed downtown disney, and I find it to
be perfect for someone who is not gonna be driving, for one you
are within walking distance of the downtown disney marketplace so
if there is a day that you are not gonna be going to the parks then
you dont have to wait for a bus to go downtown you could just walk.
And some of t h e hotels downtown are a little more then staying
on disney property but there are also some of them that are economical
and very nice. And there meals are decent prices. So explore your
options and dont knock staying downtown out of the box."
"We have only
been to WDW once but are planning our return trip. We stayed at
Caribbean Beach and we loved it ! It was so convenient that we plan
to stay on site again. I loved being able to get into the parks
before people off site and getting the most popular attractions
out of the way. We were able to break for lunch a little early each
day because of it and were able to avoid those heavy crowds."

"My husband
and I will soon be making our 9th trip to Disney. It is by far our
favorite vacation, but it is definitely best when you "stay in the
Magic!" We've stayed both off-site and on, and I can't begin to
explain the difference in the experience when you're at a Disney
Resort. It may or may not be more expensive when you take everything
into consideration, but if it is... so be it. The feeling of being
"at Disney" never leaves you when at one of their resorts. We've
stayed at the Caribbean Beach and Dixie Landings (now part of Port
Orleans), and loved them both. I've also stayed at a non-Disney
hotel on the property - in the Market Place/Downtown Disney area
- and this is a good alternative because the busses are Disney busses,
they tend to have Disney gift shops and other Disney touches, and
Disney makes sure they meet their standards. However, these hotels
are not necessarily cheaper than Disney resorts, and often actually
more expensive than Disney's value or moderate resorts. On this
upcoming trip, during which we will be renewing our wedding vows
at the Boardwalk Seabreeze Point pavilion, we will stay at the new
Animal Kingdom Lodge with a view of the Savannah. This is a deluxe
hotel and costs considerably more than we would normally pay, but
I know it's going to be worth it! I can't wait! To anyone who is
going to experience WDW for the first time - or to anyone who has
always stayed off-site - I say, "Stay at Disney! You won't believe
how much more magical and unforgettable your vacation will be!"
Diane Hance
"We also have
stayed both off site in previous years and for about the last 4
years we have stayed on property. Definitely on property is the
way to go. There is just something about that "Disney Magic" that
makes the trip all the more fun when you in a Disney resort. It
is much more convenient to get to any WDW destination and then back
to your resort. We usually stay in one of the Fort Wilderness Cabins,
but may be trying other resorts in the future - although Fort Wilderness
is our favorite by far. We like Disney so much that my favorite
souvenir is the Disney soap!!! I always take a few bars home because
each time I use it, it just has that magic Disney aroma to it &
I can close my eyes & imagine for a minute that I am still there!!
If you can afford a Holiday Inn then you can certainly afford one
of the Disney All Star Resorts for probably the same price. In fact,
even if you have more than 4 in your family (as we do) you can get
2 rooms at a Valu Resort for about the same as you would pay at
some other places & get twice as much room & 2 bathrooms!!! Staying
on Disney property is the way to go."
"I have been
to Disney four times and Disneyland once. I have always loved it
but until my husband I stayed on site I had no idea how magical
it can be. It is worth every extra penny and actually added up it's
not that much more if you stay at the moderately priced resorts."
"We are going
to Fla in Sept and staying off site. Since we are only going to
be going to Disney for 2 days and the rest of the trip at other
area attractions we thought this best. We are staying at the Holiday
Inn Nikki Bird about 2 miles from the park and there is a shuttle
that runs every 15 min from 7am until 9pm. My mother and sis just
finished a Disney vaca and they stayed at the Carribean Beach but
they were very dispointed with the bus service. It let you off where
the regular buses let people off and the walk to the entrance was
very long. They also were in lines of up of 45 min to get back on
the bus. So not always is staying in the park a good thing and more
convienent. They also were "stuck in the park" for all meals and
that does get expensive. You don't have the luxery of a car to go
off site for a less expensive meal."
"Have been
to DW many times (lost count). Biggest mistake one can make is staying
off property. Forget the "lower" price. Not worth the trouble. Have
stayed at the Contemporay, CBR, Fort Wilderness Trailers, All Star
Sports....all GREAT. You won't be disappointed. You can trim one
day off your total stay by staying on property due to the time saved
not only by going back and forth, but also by taking a quick break
in the day at your resort and then going back to the parks. All
in all, I came out financially just as well staying on site."
"I love to
stay on site. It saves so much time and headache. It can take 30
to 60 minutes to just get to the park. I have small children. Its
virtually impossible to go back to the room if you stay off-site.
On-site I can come back to my room and rest and my daughter can
take a nap or swim and we don't have to move the car."
"I would never
stay off-site! WDW isn't the same without staying in an on-site
resort. The resorts provide that certain Disney World magic 24/7.
I can't explain the feeling you get from Disney but I know this:
it's not like anything you could get at let's just say the Holiday
Inn. Even if it costs a little bit more, your getting some much
magic for your dollar." ~Amanda
"Since we
live in So. Florida we have been to disney no less than 200 times.
We have stayed in many disney resorts and also, when finances where
lower, in off property hotels. By far the Disney experience is best
enjoyed by staying at on property resorts. You feel as if you never
leave disney. From the excellent service and food, down to the creatively
decorated rooms, complete with mickey mouse soaps, its a wonderful
vacation for both families and couples. My husband and I had our
first date at disney, we honeymooned there and have celebrated many
anniversaries and birthdays with our children there. We are a disney
family and I would recommend this vacation to everyone. As a matter
