SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular, afternoons full of trick-or-treating and character interaction, returns next month. The event, which runs every Saturday and Sunday in October plus Halloween Day, is included in regular theme-park admission.
Beginning at noon on those days, folks can visit 15 "treasure stations," which feature sweet treats and healthy-choice options such as pretzels and bananas. About three dozen costumed sea creatures roam the place (with names such as Gummy Worm Wanda and Swedish Fish Suzy).
Other features: a cookie-decorating station and a "Frozen Fun Zone" with a DJ and interactive games at Wild Arctic Plaza.
There's also bonus attractions -- SeaWorld's Spooky Spectacular Sleepovers and a Spooktacular Breakfast with characters. See www.seaworldspooktacular.com for more details.
