Maya Grill Menu (Coronado Springs)

 

For those of you that have yet to experience the taste of Latin cuisine, we are certain you wlll enjoy the many flavors our menu provides. There are several words that you may be unfamiliar with, so we have provided a glossary list to assist you in your adventure into the wonder of the Maya Grill.

Latino Glossary

Ali Oli: Garlic mayonnaise

Chayote: A mild flavored, Latin-American vegetable from the squash family

Chimichurri: A sauce of olive oil, parsley. garlic, green onion, green pepper, lime juice, salt and pepper

Chorizo: A spicy Spanish sausage

Guajillo: A medium-hot chile used in sauces

Jicama: A mild root vegetable from the radish family

Masa: Dough of maseca flour, salt, sugar and lard

Pincho: Skewer

Relleno: Stuffed

Salsa Asada A combination of roasted tomatoes, roasted serrano peppers, garlic, red onion and cilantro

Yucca: A starchy root vegetable similiar to a potato
