"My daughter and I enjoyed lunch with the princesses on 23rd April
2005. I booked the lunch just two days before using Guest
Services at Animal Kingdom Lodge. No payment was required
at the time of booking, just a credit card number. The meal
was traditional Norwegian and I thought it was good value for money. Cinderella
DID appear at this meal, together with Aurora, Jasmine, Belle and
Ariel. Highly recommended." (8/05)
"The meal itself here was average. What really made the breakfast
memorable was my daughters' faces as the princesses came out. That
made the greasy eggs a bit more palatable. The princesses
were kind and friendly and posed for pictures graciously without
making us feel rushed." MM
"We had our PSB 3/2/04. We attend WDW yearly and attend at
least 3 Character meals each year. This meal was to celebrate my
daughter's 6th birthday and what a celebration it was! We entered
the park at 8am. This alone was worth the $17.99 per adult and $9
per child. We strolled through the park taking our time since our
reservation was not until 8:30am. We arrived at the Akershaus and
signed in a little before 8:30am. On browsed in a near by store
for a few minutes until we were approached by a cast member. My
daughter was asked to be the "special princess" for the
morning and help during the "Opening of the Doors" ceremony.
She was given a beautiful Princess hat, wand and cape to wear during
the ceremony and breakfast. She was on cloud 9! Once my daughter
magically opened the doors with the help of Princess Aurora, we
were seated 1st and she was seated in a special princess high back
chair. The table was set w/fruit and pastries. While we snacked
the wonderful wait staff brought juices and coffee. The princess
began to visit each table, one by one. We were then served the skillet
of all you can eat, eggs, bacon, sausage, hasbrowns and waffles.
The food was very good and fresh. The princess visited our table
and each made a big "todo" about my daughter being the
special princess of the day and wished her a happy birthday. The
morning was simply marvelous! We HIGHLY recommend this character
meal for families with young girls." (3/04)
"We attended this breakfast in Oct 2003. We arrived at the
park as we had an early seating. Once into the restaurant the Princesses
came by one at a time. However their visit was extremely quick.
Just time to sign the autograph book and 1 photo and then they were
off to the next table. They were not even very keen to have have
photo's taken individually with each of my 2 daughters. The food
was OK but felt we were rushed through. It was a good way to see
the Princesses but not sure I would book again. Much preferred the
Royal Table at Magic Kingdom"
"We just came back from WDW and 60 days before we left, I
tried every morning to get into Cinderella's Royal Table, or the
Princess Storybook Breakfast. To my surprise, on the last day we
were there, I finally got PS for PSB. We were seated after about
5 minutes, and as soon as we walked in we had fruit, and pastries
sitting on our table. The service was excellent. (even though they
were extremely busy!) However, I have to be honest in saying that
I definitely wouldn't go to PSB for the food. Nothing was really
wrong with it, however I thought $20 a person for scambled eggs,
bacon, sausage, and waffles was pretty pricey! I'm used to the typical
character buffets (out of this world), so I guess this was a little
disappointing. However, my daughter had a blast, and it was definitely
worth it to see her enjoy herself so much. We got to see Aurora,
Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, and Belle. The princess' were all wonderful
with our daughter, and our daughter was completely not interested
in her food that morning! They hugged and kissed her, picked her
up (she's two)and my daughter had a wonderful time. I would probably
try this one again for my daughter, but I think Cinderella's Gala
Feast at 1900 Park Fair was a much better value and about the same
price for a Prime Rib Buffet." (10/03) Dana
"My family and I were at this breakfast on 7/28/03 and we
highly recommend going to this one! Thanks to the tips on this website
we booked it one week ahead of time. Last minute cancellations seem
to happen quite often so you got a good chance to get a reservation.
The princesses that were there included Belle, Jasmine, Aurora,
Mulan, and Snow White! Thanks Again!"
"This is our second time eating with characters. First time
was at Ohana> I thought That was great. This time we had breakfast
with the princesses. We had the last seating. We went with 4 children.
We were seated right away. The food was ok. But not as good as Ohana
All 5 princesses came to the table and spent plenty of time with
the kids. Make sure you have reservations and call ahead to comfirm
them. We had no trouble finding the resturant. Ican't wait to go
again next year." (5/03)
"We just got back from a magical morning at Epcot. We had booked
our breakfast for 9:00am so we arrived at the gates at 8:00.We had
no problem to go through the gates early,so we were taking our time
and we came across all the charcters greeting the early entry guests. It
was a real surprise. We got alot of pictures with different charcters. With
all that excitment we got turned around and we were lost and could
not find Norway but we did get a little help from a cast member. So
be sure you give yourself lots of time to get there and bring a
map.Once we arrived at the breakfast we were seated right away. There
was already fruit and pastries on the table and coffee and juice
were served right away. The food arrived shortly after we had finished
with our fruit. The main breakfast was very good and there was more
than my daughter and I could eat.Of course she had a hard time eating
with all the attention she was getting from the princesses. We were
able to meet Belle,mary poppins,jasmine,mulan,and snow white.They
were so nice and even spent time at each table talking to you.So
you were sure to meet each one and get your pictures taken.Mary
poppins even gave me some picture taking tips.It was rather dim
in there so be sure you have a flash camera. It was the highlight
of our week long trip.I would go again for sure.It was a magical
morning, with meeting charcters on the way in,almost having epcot
to yourself as you walked to Norway, and eating breakfast in a castle
like atmoshere with five wonderful princesses." (4/03)
"We were there in Jan 2003 for our honeymoon and this was
one of the best character breakfasts we have tried. We lived in
POFQ and thus have early admission to the park. What we did was
we went to Epcot Future World 1st thing for some popular rides and
shows first, then head off for our "brunch" at Norway with last
breakfast appointment at 10:40am. That worked out great for us as
we had a great breakfast and didn't miss any of the characters!
We had snow white, sleeping beauty, Belle, Jasmine and Mulan. That
was so good as it is normally really hard to meet all these characters
altogether and have great photos taken with them. Also, the food
was all you can eat and we had so much food that kept us going for
the rest of the day. And the theming of the restaurant was great
as well, with great service provided. I definitely would recommend
this to those who cannot book the breakfast at Cindarella's Castle
as I think the service is even better here! In future, I'd love
to take my kids to come here as well!" (01/03) Connie Leung
"We went to this character breakfast just my 7 year old daughter
and myself. She loves the princesses. We were let into the park
before the others (which was very cool to my daughter) we just told
the man at the "rope" we had reservations and he let us in. Since
there were only two of us we were seated at a too small table, barely
enough room for our plates and no where for the camera! The food
however was delicious and my daughter requested pancakes (not on
the list of items to choose from) and they made them for her. I
thought that was great! My daughter is very shy and I was disappointed
that each princess (Mulan, Snow White,Jasmine, Aurora and one other)
didn't try to engage in conversation with her. They simply came
to our table signed her autograph book took a quick snap shot and
walked away. Since they left so quickly I only took one photo of
each. We have two cut off heads from princesses. I was disappointed
at that and that the last character meal we had done they at least
returned or waived or something, not these snooty princesses! So
it was okay, she got to say she had a princess breakfast but it
wasn't as memorable as we expected. :( Plan ahead to be insistant
on getting your pictures and speak up to not let them walk away,
I wish I would have." (1/03)
"Just returned (Oct.20,2002) and went to this breakfast. It
was wonderful. We had a priority seating for 8:40 a.m. Was a very
easy process to get into Epcot and cast members were available all
along the way to help us find where we were going. We went to CRT
last year and there were more characters at this one and each princess
spent more time at our table. The setting was very beautiful as
well. The princesses that were there were Jasmine, Snow White, Belle,
Mulan and Aurora. My children really enjoyed seeing all these princesses.
When you arrive there is already a fruit and pastry tray on your
table. We had strawberries and canteloupe and then three different
pastries. The second course was excellent as well and consisted
of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, potatoe casserole, and
french toast sticks. I'm glad they came up with another breakfast
for the princesses and this is just as good if not better than Cinderella's
Royal Table." (10/02)
"We loved it! We had a great experience. We had a priority
seating for 8:30am (the first seating of the day). We drove to EPCOT
and discovered that parking does not open until 8:00am, but we were
one of the first ones in line to park. We parked in the first row!
We checked in at the ticket turnstile to the far right. There was
no line and we breezed through security. We didn't need directions
to Norway, but they had castmembers stationed along the way to guide
folks to the breakfast. A little while after we checked in, I noticed
a little girl (with her back to me) about the same age as my 7 year
old niece being fitted with a princess hat and a wand to open the
princess breakfast. On closer inspection, I noticed that it WAS
my niece. I raced over to take pictures. Since she opened the place
with her magic wand as part of the opening ceremony, our party was
seated first. The Princesses in attendance were: Belle, Princess
Aurora, Jasmine and Minnie Mouse. The characters spent a lot more
time with us than the characters at CRT, so that was really cool.
Both nieces really enjoyed seeing the princesses. The 3 year old
was absolutely enthralled--she actually posed for a couple of pictures
with the Princesses--something that she was too shy to do at CRT--and
probably because the Princesses at Norway spent more time and talked
to her, she felt a little more comfortable. Belle bent down and
was at her same level when she was talking to her. The food was
delicious served family style. They started us with some fruit and
some pastries. The second course was french toast sticks, scrambled
eggs, bacon, sausage patties and a potato caserole that was out
of this world! There was no low fat alternative available--special
dietary needs have to be coordinated in advance. I would have liked
to have a little bit more of the fruit and DH would have liked to
have more of the pastries--we sort of spaced out that this was all
you can eat and we could have asked for more. We did ask for more
potatoes and were served another pan of the second course selections.
(I wished that I had remembered that on the first course ). We used
our connections breakfast vouchers to pay for the breakfast (we
were not sure if they would accept them because the breakfast is
so new, it was not listed on the voucher as one that was allowed).
The vouchers were accepted cheerfully." (8/02) DC
