"We went to disney in march (2004).it was my neices birthday
and we decided to see if we could get in to the garden grill with
out w priority seating , we were seated immediatly and the food
was so good we have been talking about it since we got home. As
it was my neices birthday the whole staff went overboard to make
us happy even bringing out a birthday cake for her.I would recomend
this as a real lunch time treat." (3/04)
"My family went to Disney World for the first time, and had
many memories that will last forever. On New Years Day, we went
to the Garden Grill. The food was excellent, and we all had huge
portions of everything. My oldest is a very good artist, and while
we were waiting for our food, he drew the characters that were there,
on a napkin, and colored them. There were 5 characters there, and
each one of them were very friendly, and autographed his pictures
that he drew of them. They also took many photos of us with them.
I would highly recommend this experience to everyone." (1/03)

"Having returned from Disney in early May, we felt that the
Garden Grill was the least favourite and palatable character meal.
The food was very greasy and the beef very under cooked and the
kids meal consisted of chicken nuggets that were soaked by the macaroni
cheese underneath. It proved to be very expensive for the amount
recieved. The characters were ok but quickly sped by without much
thought for the kids." (05/03) Lisa Thompson
"I have to say that I loved the Garden Grill. I t was an enjoyable
experience. I loved the different scenes and the way that the dining
area moved around in a circle. The food was very good and healthy.
Not to mention was grown right there which meant it was very fresh.
The characters were cute and spent alot of time at our table. I
think I met more characters at this restaurant than in the whole
park. I would definitely recommend this dining experience to anyone."

[Breakfast] "My experience here was HORRIBLE!!! Even though
I am in my twenties and never attend with children, I LOVE going
to character meals. I have dined at Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef
Mickey's, Restaurantosaurus, and the Liberty Tree Tavern. I highly
recommend any of the above, but stay away from the Garden Grill!!
We arrived at 10 am and were seated right away at our table. This
restaurant rotates very slowly around the different scenes from
the "Living with the Land" boat ride. The whole point of dining
here is to experience this and they sat us where we spent most of
the rotation in front of the entrance! The characters looked so
cute in farm outfits, but they barely spoke to us!!! At any other
character meal the characters spend lots of time at the table, even
if there are no children! I was so upset by this! To top it all
off, the food was slimy undercooked eggs, undercooked bacon and
sausage, and potatoes loaded with greasy cheese! I told the server
that all we ate were the rolls, and she offered to take 10% off
the bill! This was a waste of time and a total disappointment!"

"I went to the Garden Grill on New Years Eve 1999 and it was
a blast. my little sister and 2 cousins came also. i have never
had such a good character dining experence. in my opinion that is
the very best resrauant in all of Walt Disney World."

"Returned from (another) fantastic holiday in Florida. Never
tried the Garden Grill Ice Cream Social before, but my 7 year old
was very keen! Went along, and, not having pre-booked, were told
that it was fully booked but we could call back at 3.15pm to see
if there were 'no shows'. As it happens there was a family of 4
no shows - just right for us. My daughter was thrilled! The ice-creams
are excellent -well worth the $7.00. The only draw back I found
was the waiter was rushing us. The c arousel only revolved half
way round and we had the bill thrown under our noses! Still, we
ignored this as there was plenty empty seats with no waiting queue
so we knew we weren't holding anyone up! My daughers met Chip 'n'
Dale who they took a real fancy to, Mickey and Pluto. I would really
recommend this Character greeting - well worth the money - as long
as you ignore the waiter rushing you!! Excellent and very good value
for money!" (8/02) Debbie Coxon
