Cascading waterfalls and tropical Florida shrubbery line the roadway, ushering arriving guests into the resort grounds and hinting at the refuge to come. Once inside the main reception building, visitors will be in a three-story atrium highlighted by sunshine streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows. Framing the resort's central lagoon, the reception area provides spectacular views of the free-form pool and shimmering waterfall.

Come see why the high standards of Caribe Royale are redefining the Central Florida travel experience for leisure and business travelers alike. With so many amenities and employees catering to your every need, it's hard to find a reason to stay anywhere else.

Perhaps the best way to take in the surroundings at Caribe is to get a bird's eye view. The centerpiece of our resort is the 250,000 gallon free-form pool, which is just steps from each guest tower. Towers I and II are guest towers for families, while Tower III is a guest tower exclusively dedicated to our adult guests. The towers are surrounded by lush palms and tropical plants. Convenient parking is just outside the doors of each tower. In our villas, guests enjoy individual screened balconies and a private pool.

Amenities

The Expansive Pool
The focal point of the resort is the 250,000-gallon super-sized pool, featuring a winding 75-foot waterslide and two relaxing outdoor Jacuzzis. An enormous pool-deck area set with lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas and cabanas gently winds around a variety of swaying palms and tropical foliage.

Kiddy Corner Poolside
The children's wading pool, complete with interactive water toys such as twirling fountains and waterspouts, is just a cannonball's splash away. A low-impact rubberized play area with slide and climbing gym is adjacent.

Sporty Hot Spots
If you care to trade in your beach towel for a tennis racket, come enjoy our lighted tennis courts, or get in a game of golf at one of the nearby championship golf courses. Additional cardio workouts may be had at one of the two fitness centers.

Entertainment Value
For a test of coordination, feel free to wander into the game room located in our main building.

At Your Service
For your convenience, a concierge is at your service in each of our resort towers. Through our Guest Services, you can purchase advanced tickets for the various area attractions. Should you need to travel by car during your stay with us, a Thrifty Car Rental office is located on-site.

Restaurants

Come sink your teeth into the outstanding cuisine prepared exclusively by our expert staff. Each menu item is prepared fresh, on-property, every day. Whether dining at one of the resort's restaurants, in-suite or poolside, guests at Caribe Royale are guaranteed quality and freshness with any menu selection.

The Tropicale Restaurant
There is something for everyone at the Tropicale, our full-service, all-day dining restaurant. Our guests enjoy quality food, beverages and service in a casual environment. The Tropicale offers a comfortable atmosphere for both families and the business traveler.

Café Largo
Café Largo is a market-style eatery luring guests with the tempting aroma of roasted chicken, made-to-order pizzas, deli foods, salad from the salad bar, and a variety of afternoon and late-night snacks. Guests have the convenient option of eating in or placing to-go orders.

Calypso's
What's more enjoyable than an afternoon spent leisurely sunbathing poolside? Well, an afternoon spent sunbathing while enjoying tropical drinks and grilled delights, of course. From piña coladas and chicken fingers to burgers and ice-cold fruit salads, sunbathers and swimmers flock to Calypso's poolside locale.

Parrot Isle Lounge
As the sun begins to fade, the Parrot Isle Lounge is the perfect place to unwind. Adjacent to our main lobby and overlooking the lower level of the reception building, the lounge features more than 23 single malt scotches, 14 varieties of tequila and an extensive wine list of vintage and early 1970 selections. It also features the excitement of a wide-screen TV for games, and the soothing sounds of piano music.

In-suite Dining
Of course, in addition to our wide array of dining establishments, perhaps the most relaxing way to enjoy a meal is in the comfort of your own suite. Not a problem - guests have our in-suite dining service at their disposal. Bon appetite!

Reviews

"We stayed in this hotel in August 2003 for 18 nights and it was really great. The rooms were clean and having the extra living room with TV was a real bonus. We didn't have to lie still with the lights out a 8'oclock so that the kids could go to sleep - which we would have done in a normal hotel room. There was a fridge which was handy to keep drinks cold and a microwave if you wanted to "cook" anything. We were on the 8th floor and there was never a wait for lifts.
We used the Cafe Largo for breakfast which was fine - usually muffins, fruit, juice tea and coffee. We also had take out chicken in the evening which was good value and tasty.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the free form pool with 75 foot water slide was fantastic. We have stayed in Orlando many times and for us this was by far the best hotel. It was only 5 mins drive to Disney and there were plenty of resturants in the Kissimee area. we loved it so much we will be going back again in 2004." (8/03) Jakki

"This is a great hotel complex. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and were overwhelmed! There is a jacuzzi tub in the master (king) bedroom and two full baths besides. With a washer and dryer, it was very convenient. Location was very good, close to everything. Unbelievable value! We found the restaurants to be not overly expensive and the food of good quality. The pool was very nice. For the price I don't think you can touch this hotel. Wonderful and will definitely stay there again." (4/03) Rick Wolff

"My husband had stayed at this resort once before on business. He ended up at the resort quite by accident. At that time, he stayed in one of the one bedroom villas and he loved it. The next time he went down for business, we were able to go with him, so we stayed in the villas. They were very comfortable, clean and big!! They were decorated nice as well. The service wasn't bad either. My husband was sick before we even got to Florida and ended up in the hospital. Somehow the resort found out and we returned from the hospital, there was a beautiful get well card and gift in the room. Luckily we had all the comforts of home (washer/dryer/kitchen/three televisions/vcr) because Dad spent the next few days recuperating.
dining: We only had breakfast, but it was always plentiful, good and free!!
With full breakfasts included, a pool with a slide and a waterfall and its proximity to the parks, it is a great value. The year before we were booked for the Caribe Royale but cancelled to stay in the villas at the Disney Institute for $450 a night. We wondered what the heck we were thinking. We paid $259 a night at the CR. The prices have probably gone up, but we will stay there again. (This year we are actually staying at the Port Orleans - Riverside. We paid $84 a night and I a m attending a convention at the Coronado Resort. We want to give Disney another chance to compare to the CR.)" (6/00) Erin Benedetto
