The Crowne Plaza Universal became a hospitality landmark in Central Florida the day it opened on June 17, 2002. Located on Universal Boulevard, just a quick walk from Orlando's world renowned International Drive, this spectacular hotel soars 15 stories into the Florida sunshine.A team of world-class hospitality architects and designers has created a masterpiece that blends the Park Avenue elegance of New York with the chic deco of Miami's South Beach. The Crowne Wing houses the conference center and most of the guest rooms. The Atrium Tower features guest rooms and suites arranged around a breathtaking circular atrium that leaps from ground floor to sky dome 15 floors up. High-speed glass elevators that face the expanse of the atrium serve the Atrium Tower guest rooms, suites and Presidential Suite.

The furnishings and decor of guest rooms at the Crowne Plaza Universal can be characterized as "residential", subdued in color and texture much like the bedroom of a private residence. The intent is to provide guests some relief from the sensory chaos of the attractions, a sanctuary where one can rest and recharge for another busy vacation day. New, beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites featuring floor to ceiling windows offering spectacular views and luxurious appointments including comfortable pillow top mattresses, hairdryer, makeup mirror, am/fm alarm clock radio, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, in-room safe, lighted workstation with two-line cordless speaker phone, data port, 25" color TV with cable as well as in-room movies, Nintendo 64, and web-TV.

DiningThe Crowne Plaza Universal offers visitors excellent dining in Arcanjo's Bistro. Serving a diversified menu of contemporary American and International cuisine, Arcanjo’s serves breakfast, ala carte and buffet, from 6:30-11am and dinner from 5-11pm. Over in the Atrium Tower, the Market Cafe sells selections for snack-in or takeout, including Panini sandwiches and New York-style Noble Roman's Pizza, prepared in our own pizza ovens. The Market Cafe is open from 7:00AM until 11:00 PM. After busy hours at the attractions, you'll appreciate Chat's Lounge, our convenient lobby bar. Close and cozy, Chat's is an ideal rendezvous for business or pleasure, and is open from 11:00am - 12:00 midnight offering light fare to include sandwiches and salads as well as trendy drinks and martini's.
