If
you are travelling by car, consider bringing groceries from
home.
Basics
(milk, juice, cereal) can be bought from the shop at each resort.
The
Gourmet Pantry at Downtown Disney Marketplace sells a wider
selection of groceries, but they are more expensive than standard
supermarkets.
There
is a 24hr Gooding's grocery store at the Crossroads shopping
centre, near the Disney Village hotels.
There
is also a Publix grocery store on 192, and also in Kissimmee.
Another
option is to order your groceries online at www.netgrocer.com
& have them delivered to you at the resort.
Only
rooms at the 'Home away from home' resorts (OKW, Bwk Villas,
etc) are suited to making your own meals. You can of course
have simple breakfasts in your resort room (cereal, juice, pop
tarts).
Refirigerators
are available to hire at Disney resorts, for $10 a night.
If
you don't want to hire a refrigerator, there are other options.
Buy a cheap cooler & use ice from the ice machines at the
resorts to keep food cool. An ice bucket is usually provided
in each room, which is handy for keeping a bottle or small items
cool overnight.
