Why do you love Walt Disney World and what are your favourite things?
Fill in the box at the bottom or email me.
"what can I say about the happiest place on earth. I
have 2 young children 7 & 6 and we have taken them to disney
7 times in the past 5 years (we live in Maine by the way)and are
planning another trip for this February. I just cannot think of
a better way to spend our vacations. Our favorite things
about Disney trips are:
1) park Hopping..staying at one park all day is too exhausting so we almost always
go for a couple of hours and then go to a different park in the evening. This
is a must with children (adults can benefiot too). You are much more relaxed
and rested and the downtime is a must.
2) Resort Hopping. We have stayed at All Stars, Pop Century, AKL, Fort
Wildnerness cabins (our favorite by the way..don't forget to rent a golf cart
to get around the grounds)but we have visited virtually every other resort as
well by stopping for lunch/ dinner or just walking around the grounds.
3) Illumanations. I still get so excited walking around world showcase
at night with the dramatic music and lights. Stealing a last quick boat-ride
at Mexico before the show begins. Taking a leisurely stroll after the show
as the kids fall asleep in the stroller. We try to go at least twice when
we visit. This has come to be my most favorite and relxing thing to do
at the entire resort.
4) extra magic hours. If you have never experienced Disney when it is not
crowded you are really missing something special. The night time extra
hours are just very special. Something about the parks at night with small
crowds is incredible. If you are staying on grounds, make sure the kids
have a nap and take advantage of this great benefit...you will not regret it."

"Favourite show:
Spectromagic - This is the night parade at Disney it is brilliantly
done and music just adds the effect its so grand and it looks
gorgeous all lit up its amazing!
Favourite Ride:
Haunted mansion - Theres something bout this ride, the special effect the music
its just ace brilliantly done
Other:
Its got to be the music, so powerful, the ride music them theme park music, the
film music, all adds to what makes disney so geat, such talent behind it and
what makes the memories."
"Let's not for get this was all started by a mouse" i love to
look around and see mickey and friends every where you look.i love
the time put into making the parks look like they do. fresh paint,
no blown bulbs, trash swept up as soon as it hits the ground. the
atmosphere is just great. thanks walt!!"

"wdw-dreams can come true with a little fantasy.what a great place.i'm
no child.we went to disney at 47 years old in 1999 and back in
2000.what a magical place(as it describes itself of course)and
of all the amusement parks i've been to over the years it is the
cleanest park around.bout the only thing i don't like about disney
is the body wars and star wars type ride.and that isn't the parks
fault.it's my bodies.yikes, motion sickness for me.but tower of
terror at mgm has to be my # 1 ride.i never get sick on it for
some reason.anyway.disney is #1 in vacation fun.if you have never
been,go for it."

"I have only been to WDW once but the moment you leave you
feel like planning another trip straight away! For me the best parts
are the parades and fireworks after a brilliant day 'disneying'.
My favourite place to eat is definitely the sci-fi diner and seeing
everybody's faces! I also love the music that they play there! I
can't wait to go back and see everything hopefully next xmas!"
Fiona, England
"Well - where do i start - I first went to WDW in 1990 and
am very excited about making my 11th trip in three weeks! It never
fails to amaze me especially when you see Cinderella's Castle when
you first walk in. It just gives me a buzz that i can't explain
and i am usually already planning the next trip on the plane home!
This trip will be my daughters 4th and she is only 2 so i hope that
when she gets older she will have the love that me and the rest
of my family does for WDW. she is in love with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
at the moment and is very excited about seeing them. Very much looking
forward to my trip and i am sure that i will be next year with my
second child due in January. Keep it up Disney we love you xx"Emma,
UK
"I love that feeling you have about one week before you leave
and you have planned and saved and dreamed of the things you want
to do. Then the time comes and you are there! The anticipation is
all part of the fun. I've been there three times and can't wait
to go back. I'm lucky and my son and husband feel the same way."Lisa

"Why do I love WDW? Well for me the answer is very different.
My family went for the 1st time last year 4/03. A few weeks before
we left, my 8 year old son became ill. Dr.'s said it was a virus
and he would be fine to go. However, 3 days before the trip he was
so ill that he could not even lift his head up. I wanted to cancle
but my son wouldn't let us even think about it. So, I planned to
rent a wheelchair and sit with him. But before I could do any of
that, the magic of WDW was upon us. My son was walking down main
street, shooting Zurg at Buzz Lightyear, waving at the parade characters,
and swimming at theCBR pool. So, I guess you could say that what
I love most about WDW world is, watching a kid being a kid. (P.S.
My son is now a healthy 9 year old. It turned out to be an intestinal
blockage that was treated when we got home.)" -Jodi
"As time passes life becomes very overwelming! Stessfull jobs,
raising kids, house work, car repairs, cleaning (and with kids,
more cleaning)......etc. But, for one week each year, I can escape
the problems that plague my soul and be refreshed by kindness. Walt
Disney World is a magical place filled with dreams. It clears my
mind in order to complete another year." Ron
"I have been going to WDW for as long as I can remember. No
matter what is going on in our lives, my family is always happy
at WDW and all our worries seem to fly away and we can live in the
moment and the magic together. I only hope someday I will be able
to give my children the memories and happy times I have gotten from
my WDW trips with my family." Amy and Erin F.
"Disney Florist Welcome Basket With Pluto,Test Track,Buzz
Lightyear,Goofy's
Barnstormer(Best Kiddie Coaster Ever!)Yacht Club Concierge,And Meeting
Lilo & Stitch For The First Time!" Stitchy
"The memories of being a kid at Disney.
Walking toward the castle down Main Street. Hugging Mickey. Peter
Pan's Flight. Thunder Mt. RR. Space Mt. Characater Breakfasts. Fireworks
Displays. Riding the Monorail. Eating at O'Hanas. Dole Whips! Tower
of Terror. The Great Movie Ride. Teppenyaki in Epcot. Test Track.
Hidden Mickeys. Resort Pools - Storm Along Bay
and The Dig Site (CSR). Beaches & Cream - for dessert. Illuminations.
nThe Surrey Bikes on the boardwalk. Experiencing it all over again
with my boys. Magical moments, too many to count!" A Simonds
"I've been going to Walt Disney World since 1972. I have been
there 14 times, each time being more exciting than the last. How
is the possibe, you ask? Each time that I sadly have to leave, I'll
notice something that I will have to see again in more detail when
I return. Everybody knows the absolute feeling of escapism once
you see those gates. (There not pearly, but I'd like to think there's
another Disney World awaiting us there too!) Too bad we all can't
just work there for free. I think the Granddaughters may want to
look into that, there'd be plenty of us volunteering! Robby - as
on my 1st set of ears (Milwaukee)"
"My favorite
thing is sitting on main street with my children watching the parade
through their eyes! It is truly magical!" Tina/Connecticut
"I am 22 and
I have been to WDW 3 times, and I am returning in December for a
fourth. I will be going with my boyfriend and it's his first trip.
All ready I have a special surprise set up for him when we arrive,
an autographed picture of Tigger, his favorite Disney character!
I love Disney because they go out of their way to make every experiance
a memorable one! It takes you back to a time when we didn't worry
about war or terrorists...we just had fun! WDW makes you forget
your every day cares. The only thing you feel sad about the whole
time you are there is having to go home!" -Josie
"My husband
and I were married at the Polynesian Resort on Dec. 14 2002 and
it was the most memorable thing I have ever done or been apart of!!
I will always remember it. Truly a little girl's dream come true!!
I have been visiting Diseny since I was very small and we went about
2 to 3 times a year. It was what I remember most about my childhood.
I am almost 21 years old now, and will be going again for my birthday
and one year wedding anniversery. I plan to take my children, when
I have some, to Disney many times in the future because I want them
to remember it like I always will, the most magical place on earth!!"
Laura Elmore
"Wdw is the best place in the world!! As many people have
already said, it is truly magical and the sights, sounds, smells
and tastes come back to you again and again. If youre like me you
wont be able to get enough of it!!! We are off again in september
'04, it will be my mums first time, and i keep trying to find the
words to explain just how magical it is, but i cant. She will have
to find out for herself......." Emma-wales, uk
"Me and my family love Walt Disney World! The last time we
went was Easter 2001!There is so much more to see now.We did'nt
do Universal studios last time, but we are this time. Were staying
a week this time in October! We will definitely do Disney first!!!My
favorite ride is Space Montain.I was terrified when I got off Terror
tower(wont do that one again)but we all love the atmosphere, especially
since we are from boston which is mostly the city.Orlando is so
beautiful,I'll probably live there someday!" samantha Budgell
"My favorite thing about Disney is seeing the beautiful Castle!!
It is just breath taking when you stand at the beginning of Main
Street with the Castle at the end of it. It just puts the biggest
smile on my face and I forget about all my worries. I love that
castle so much, I wish I could move into it!" Marissa
"I have always loved everything about Disney World since my
first visit in 1990. Now, 14 visits later, I am still enchanted
and know I will always remain so. I would like to add that I appreciate
Disney World even more since September 11, 2001. With the world
in constant chaos it is such a blessing to be in a place where people
from all walks of life and from all over the world can put differences
aside and enjoy a wonderful experience together. Maybe Disney could
teach our world leaders something. Wouldn't it be nice!" Dorothy
& George, Philadelphia.
"My first sight of the Epcot globe. Also, the drive thru the
entrance toll booths into the Disney complex. The feeling of freedom
that these first sights evoke in me. At last, but not by any means
least, are the cast members whom with out there dedication and eye
to detail, my Disney experience would not be magical."
"Why do I love WDW? Where do I begin. We have just returned
from our 6th trip in 4 years and it just gets better! Everyone asks
how we can go there every time and why don't we try somewhere else.
Where else is there to try?? No where compares. Every trip has been
different but the feeling when you walk through the MK gates is,
as they say, 'magical'. The sites, the sounds, the smells - and
no matter how old you are you really can be a kid again and forget
your troubles. If you have never been before and are considering
it - consider no more! Take it from me, once you've been, you'll
go back!!" Debbie, Newcastle UK
"I love WDW because it is so magical. I am only 13 and we
have benn there 3 times. My Dream job is to work in WDW because
of the excitment and the magic there. WDW makes you want to go back
again and again. WDW is wonderfull!"
"Visiting WDW is absolutely magical in everyway, I've visited
11 times and really can't get enough of it. Last year I took my
boyfriend with me and now he's hooked too! We're off again this
year and all we can talk about is how we can't wait to be back on
all the amazing rides, right in the heart of the fun. Tower of Terror
and Splash Mountain absolutely rock, I love WDW." Natalie
"My fiance, Chris, and I went for in 1999 and every year there
after. It was his first time there and my 8th time. To see the look
on his face (he was 25 at the time), it was great. I fixed it to
where he would ride the monorail with the driver to see the Magic
Kingdom and the castle for the first time. He was spell bound. We
spent 7 nites there for his first time and he couldn't get over
it. We even took a class at the Disney Institute. Needless to say,
we've made a WDW trip at least once a year since then. Neither one
of us can get enough of it. My favorite memory is going with my
parents in the 70's. It's nice to see everything from memory. This
year is the land and sea cruise, staying at the CBR. I'm very much
looking forward to going... PS. Go to the Adventurer's Club, it's
a hidden treasure." David from New Orleans, LA.
"The reason i love disneyworld is the magical feeling. Ive
been 3 times and im going back in august! I cant wait! It feels
like your really not in the united states, just a whole new world..
: ) well all ive got to say, whoever hasnt been, time for ya to
take a trip that'll you'll NEVER regret... : )" T.E from Alabama
"I love Walt Disney World because when you go there you forget
about all the problems in the world it's such a beautiful place. I
also love wacthing my childrens eyes light up."
"People always say to me "How can you keep going back to the
same old themepark?" Why don't they understand that no two trips
to WDW are ever the same? What I love most is the way you feel like
you want to look above your head to see if they really are sprinkling
pixie dust on you." Lisa, UK
"I cant even put into words what my Disney World experiences
have been like. I have only been twice so far and both times it
was a different experience. Im going back in June for my Senior
trip and I am so excited to go back. It is no doubt the happiest
place on earth!! Its such a magical place, and I hope to go once
a year for the rest of my life! Its definately my favorite place
on earth, and no one is too old for it!!" Baily
"When I begin
to plan a trip, all the songs of Disney start running through my
head. I really think life should have sound tracks..it would makes
things so much easier to deal with. When you walk through the entrance,
go under the train and suddenly your on Main St. The music, the
sounds of the horses hooves, the smell of candy. Im 40 and 10 all
at the same time. I grew up in Southern Calif. so we had season
passes to Disneyland every year. This year Im planning my first
trip to WDW with my whole family (about 30 people)and am so excited
I cant think of anything else..." S.H.
"I have been
to disney world 20+ times and I never get tired of it. This year
I went with my parents and brother like we used to, but I also took
my wife and kids for the first time. My new favorite thing about
Disney World is the meories we brought back. We stayed at the Animal
Kingdom Lodge and the entire trip was magical. We look at the picture
all the time and have already started to plan the next trip."
"My favorite
parts of Disney World were the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of
Terror, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
and the MAGIC feeling! I am only ten and have been there about 6
times and I LOVE it!!" Karleen
"A couple
of my favorite things are going on buzz lightyear space ranger spin
6 more times with my four year old son , after the rest of the family
has called it a day.the dinner at hoop de due revue, followed up
by a show at the adventurer's club with my wife.last, but not least
my personal favorite riding pirates of the caribbean and absolutley
loving the fact that i can't get that song out of my head."
Steve
" My favorite
thing about Disney World, is that EVERYONE becomes a child again
while they are there. The crazy hats, the fun t-shirts, it is a
different world. Everyone gets into the feeling of the magic when
they are there. The spirit of harmony and happiness that resides
there draws us all back time and time again. Disney World... feels
like the way we all wish the world really was." Sandy
"I never got
to experience the magic as a child. My first trip I was 27 years
old. I am now in my 40's and have been there with my kids 6 times.
It is one of my favorite places to vacation because of the energy
and attentiveness of all of the employees. The rides are memorable
but it is the feeling of possibilities and wonder that Disney evokes
in me. We will continue throught the years experiencing the magic
in all of it's ways." Janet
"Why do I
love Disney????? I am going again on January 2, 2003 for the fourth
time. I am only 26. I love Disney because I have to say no matter
what rides they have their, no matter what the weather, I feel Disney
is most magical, unique feeling you will ever feel in your whole
life. My co-workers who have never gone, are asking me questions.
All I can say to explain this trip is you have to go. There are
not enough words to explain the adrenalin rush you get when you
get on the Monorail or the amazement by the detail of every costume
or building. It is like you are dreaming that you are in a Disney
movie with all of your favorite characters and the plot of the dream
is to enjoy a fun filled, pleasantly exhausting day at the most
fun amusement park ever. The only bad part is that you have to wake
up and enter the real world again, ( or until your next visit ).
I hope to see you all there in the future...."
"Every trip
I have made during the last eight years has been as a cast member
of the company. I always felt that CM was written on my forehead
has people always stopped me to ask for assistance. This year I
get to go as a guest and am curious if CM is still there or I have
been able to remove it and can just go to enjoy the wonders of WDW.
No matter how many times I go I can't seem to get enough "pixie
dust" to get through a full year and the itch to get back grows
and grows. I hope everyone can go and just take some time to forget
their problems and remember, even if for a moment, what it was like
to be a child. That child is always with us, we just have to remember
to keep in touch with our inner child. WDW, here I come!!"
" I love the
smile on my son's face when he is in the Disney Parks. His Make
a Wish trip was to Disneyworld - he smiled for the first time in
6 months when Goofy and Donald played with him. He literally stayed
alive in the ICU when we bribed him with going back to Disneyworld.
It's a magical place - he even doesn't need his oxygen once we are
there (as much)! He's had 9 heart surgeries. (read about zakki www.makeachildsmile.org
November 2002 kids)" stephanie blatt
"Every time
we've been we tell ourselves it will be the last(because of the
expense)but we're now looking forward to our 3rd trip!!It's just
soooo good that we can't help it!!Every thing is so brilliant it's
hard to choose favourites but here are some:
Spectromagic
Sci fi diner.
Animal Kingdom.
All 3 waterparks--and i don't even swim!!!
The electric Parade.
As a disney hotel guest looking round the more expensive disney
hotels and dining there-gives a taste of how the other half live!!!
The ferry ride across to MK- the anticipation builds!
The Crystal Palace-great buffet.
I could go on and on! " Janette (u.k.)
"I love WDW
because i am always made to feel like the most important person
in the world not just by the staff but by all americans and it's
just like living a dream I would not think about going anywhere
else for my holidays." sash
"I love all
the Parks all the rides plus all the places to eat. The cast members
were great. I just can't pick one thing.I would be here for ever.I
would dearly love to hide their and see how everything is done all
day and all night. I can't say enough about how wonderful the whole
expereance was to me and my husband. His whole family thought he
would be a party pooper, but he would wake my up and say "Time to
go MOMMY" he was so funny,he loved talking to the cast members.I
am sorry I started out trying to think of my favorites rides were
but the list would be to long." Elizabeth Portsmouth NH
"I love everything
about it! Some of my all time favorites are Pirates, Test Track,
Rockin' Roller Coaster, It's Tough to be a bug! Who can for get
the wonderful smells like the chicken strips and dole whips! And
the great resorts like the Wilderness Lodge! And what hols everything
together are the wonderful Cast members!" Dana-PA
"Where else
can a person truly become a child again without question..........
We have enjoyed our visits to this most magical of places and will
continue to do so for as long as the MAGIC goes on. Each park is
like a new and exciting adventure every time you visit. The parades,
(Jammin Jungle, our fav.)are wonderful and the evening shows and
fireworks are simply the bes. Or as Tigger would say TIGGERIFIC"
"My favorite
thing about WDW is just that general feeling of magic and wonder
while you are there. One of my most favorite things to do while
I am there is to grab a seat near one of the fountains at the marketplace.
I watch the children laughing and squealing as they jump and run
around the fountain. Their laughter is affectious and I find myself
smiling and laughing, watching the happiness in their eyes. Walt
Disney World is my 'happy place.'" Kelly
"The MAGIC
that DISNEY generates. I get goosebumps when ever I step into any
of the theme parks. I never want the day to end. I like so much
at Disney its hard to pick out favourites. Pleasure Island would
top the list, followed by Star tours, haunted mansion, alien encounter, buzz
lightyear, and so on." Bill
"Well what
can I say that hasn't already been said by all of the other below.
However the thing that really makes me feel as though I have arrived
is walking through the gates at the Magic Kingdom. It sends a shiver
down my spine and all of a sudden I'm a big kid again! My favourite
things...... EVERYTHING." Lesley - UK
"I was a late
bloomer to Disney - not making my first trip until I was 22 but
from that moment on I was hooked. It's the only place in the world
it's OKAY for adults to act like kids. Everyone's happy, everyone's
innocent again. It's a world of pure fantasy and there's nothing
like it. Since I don't fly we drive down from New York and even
the ride down seems magical! Just knowing I'm going to be there
soon is enough! I've got my husband hooked. We took the Disney vacation/cruis
e for our honeymoon then went back for our first anniversay! There's
no where else on earth I want to go for my yearly vacations. I can
never get sick of it."
"As a 21-year
old I've never grown weary of bringing myself into the magical world
of Disney. The parks and resorts are beyond this world! Most of
all I really appreciate the hard work each cast member puts into
their daily parts. They are what truly make my experience at WDW,
how they interact with the guests and play their parts to the "t"
making everything come alive. I anticipate great things from Disney
in the future! And I also look forward to maybe becoming a part
of the Disney cast myself sooner or later." Bonnie
"I like WDW
because it is the only place in the world were an adult can act
like a big kid again and get away with it and everyone feels the
same way, happy with not a care in the world. Letting the rest of
the world fly past them and feel safe in this happy hassle free
enviroment. the things I liked best about WDW is pretty much the
lot of it except the fact that sooner or later you have to go home."
graeme cochrane (port glasgow,scotland)
"This is going
to sound bizarre, but the best part about Disney is the smell. Every
spring where I live, I'm reminded of the smell. Kind of like the
air just after a rainstorm, but before it starts smelling like worms."
" I love everything
about it,the look, the rides and the food. Its the best place on
earth. My Fav Things are: Rockin' Roller Coaster, Haunted Mansion,
Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Buzz Light
Year, Fantasmic, The Winnie the Pooh ride, Spaceship Earth, Thunder
Mountain, Tower of Terror, The Monorail, Spaceship Mountain, Cinderellas
Castle, The Characters, The food, Illuminations, Character Meals,
Back Lot Tour, Honey I Shrunk The Audience, The lights in the parks
at night, Board Walk, Disney Resort Deluxe Hotels, 50's Prime Time
Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In, The Buffets, Hotel pools, The music in the
backround of the parks, The themes of the parks, And More."
"I Love going
to WDW with someone who has never been, seeing it through their
eyes and watching them become a little kid. But it seems no where
else in the world is as clean, where every little detail has been
thought of and everyone's needs anticipated. I love to sit and people
watch, seeing grown-ups skipping, singing and running to the next
adventure. It is truly a magical place to allow people to forget
about there troubles and take a true vacation. I love the music,
the foods, the rides and most of all the feelings of happiness.
Staying on the property is definitely a must, it keeps you in the
dream."
"I love WDW
because I can be a kid right along with my two children. My favorite
things most of all are really the memories I take home with me.
But, if I have to choose some things within WDW, I would have to
say: Getting to the Disney resort we are staying at after a long
trip down. Taking our first ride on the monorail. All the sights,
smells, and sounds of WDW." Diz Mom
"Like everyone
else who posted, it's hard to pin it down to just one thing. My
fondest memories may be of the electric water pageant because the
first time I stayed on sight with my family (in 1977) we would leave
our room at the Polynesian each night at nine, sit on the beach
& watch it go by. It was magical! I am going with my husband in
January 2003 & on our first night we will have dinner at Artist
Point & at 9:30, we will go down to Bay Lake to watch the water
pageant together."
"I really
enjoy all of the beautiful flowers and trees in WDW. I like how
everything is so neat and clean. I love the carousel and its music.
I love the atmosphere at WDW. Everybody seems happy."
"My most favorite
thing is the first sight of the castle! Then there's the haunted
mansion, watching my children ride thru "It's a Small World", and
last but not least the Electric Parade! We are going in just 4 weeks
and i have goose bumps just thinking about it!" Carrie
"I LOVE THE
FEELING I GET WHEN I'M RIDING IN THE CAB FROM THE AIRPORT TO OUR
HOTEL OFFSIGHT. THEN, THE DAY AFTER WE'RE OFF TO WDW ON A DIFFERENT
SHUTTLE! NOW I LOVE THAT! WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING THROUGH THE DISNEY
GATES ONTO PROPERTY! OH, WHAT A FEELING! YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE ENTERING
A DIFFERENT DIMENSION WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING THROUGH THOSE GATES!"
KRISTEN
"Why do I
love WDW??? There isn't enough memory on my computer for me to type
it all down!!
My #1 favorite thing about WDW is the Wilderness Lodge. I love this
hotel as much if not more than my own home! My husband and I honeymooned
in WDW and stayed at the WL before embarking on a wonderful Disney
Cruise.
When you walk into the Wilderness Lodge, you get this feeling that
can't be described by words. It feels so familiar, so calm. The
sounds and smells of the babbling brook coming from the lobby heading
out to the pool, the 80ft tall fireplace, the 120ft tall geyser
erupting every hour....it is so magical! You have to experience
it first hand to truly appreciate it!
Don't even get me started on the rest of WDW!" Flavia
"Opening my
hotel room when I first arrive. The familiar smell says, "Welcome
back." Then grabbing my cup from my suitcase and hurrying to the
foodcourt, telling myself I'm finally here. I know I have the whole
week in front of me." Bonnie Falkowski
There is no other
place in the world as magical as WDW! From the moment i arrive steppinmg

the rides. It's about the restraunts, the smiling people, the hotels,
and walking through Canada and United Kingdom. But Space Mountain
doesn't hurt either.

I love WDW because
it's an escape from the 'real world', while you're there nothing
else matters, it's a complete Fantasy World, which I love.
My favourite things -
Seeing the castle for the first time on a trip
Speeding along the Seven Seas Lagoon on a watermouse boat
Meeting Mickey :-)
The music played in the background in the parks
Festival of the Lion King at AK
& many more things, I could go on all day!

Oh Joanne... I
have to agree. Walt Disney World is an escape from the real world.
But not only that, it's the most friendliest place on earth. The
friendly faces and big smiles give you a warmth of satisfaction
that for that one minute, one day, or even one week... everything
is perfect with the world. We all know this is far from the truth
but life outside Disney World is the last thing your thinking about!
Favorite things: (My Wife)
The many restaurants
Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT
Rockin' Roller Coaster
The Boardwalk Resort
A magical Atmosphere everywhere you go
Favorite things: (Myself)
WDW Icons: The Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, and the Water
Tower
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
Rockin' Roller Coaster
Illuminations
Tapestry of Nations
and I too love the Festival of the Lion King

I just have to
agree. As soon as I see the first sign for Disney World on the highway,
I can just feel myself relaxing. It is a different world. Your problems
seem to disappear. I can't really express how fully happy and content
I feel as I am walking around the parks or shopping in Downtown
Disney. I've never been able to capture the same feeling anywhere
else.

I love the feeling
that I get at WDW . The only way to describe it is WOW. It is amazing
to see so many people in one area and yet everything seems to run
so smoothly. I remember on our 1st trip we were leaving MK after
Spectromagic and when we saw the line of people trying to get out
we were thinking it would take forever but it took only minutes.
Things like that just amaze me. They really know what they're doing.
HHMMMM my favorite things.......
1st time seeing the castle
the old illuminations
going thru all the great shops in Epcot
watching the ghosts dance in the haunted mansion
the list would go on forever but I have to stop daydreaming because
it's really making want to be there now.

I love WDW because
it lets any adult feel like a kid again.(ok, so we've all heard
that before!) But, it's also a great vacation to really have fun
with your kids. There is something for everyone. There is nothing
more special than seeing the castle for the first time. Or, seeing
your kids see it for the first time. This year, my best friend and
her husband are coming with us. They have never been there and I
can't wait to see thier faces!
My Fave things:
Space Mountain
Tower of Terror
Big Thunder Railroad
the interaction with the CMs
the character signings
Also, it is one of the few places you can take a handicapped child(my
son is totally blind and has cerebral palsy;he is in a wheelchair)
and they really enjoy themselves as well. The CMs are great with
all children, but especially handicapped ones
