Rooms are furnished with two double beds; some king-sized beds
available. Each room can accommodate four persons, plus one child
under age three in a crib. Alligator Bayou rooms which now have
trundle beds, can accommodate five persons for an additional charge
of $15.00 per night. The average Guest Room is 314 square feet.
All rooms have ceiling fans, nightstand, luggage rack, armoire,
separate vanity areas with two pedestal sinks & mirrors, table
& chairs, & TV.
There are two styles of rooms - Magnolia Bend rooms, which are
located in plantation-style mansion homes; & Alligator Bayou
rooms, which are in are in rustic lodges.
There are two views available-
Standard view rooms, which overlook either the parking lot or garden
areas.
Water view rooms, which can overlook either Sassagoula River or
the pool.

Best room locations The rooms nearest
to the main building are in Oak Manor (Magnolia Bend), & blocks
14, 15 & 18 (Alligator Bayou). Rooms farthest away from the
main building, which are therefore quieter, are in Acadian House
(Magnolia Bend), & buildings 36 & 37 (Alligator Bayou).
