Reviews

"The hotel is very nice if your going with a larger goup, because you can fit more people in a room for a much lower price. However, in doing this you are giving up that around the clock 'Disney magic.' The hotel does not compare to a Disney resort in that it only has one pool, one hot tub, one resturant, one arcade, one play ground, well you get the idea. Having been to disney 12 times in 11 years, each being a weeklong trip, I've gotten to know the resorts pretty well. The Disney Resorts often have several of everything, so you can pick and choose where you want to spend your down time. Nothing compares to Disney itself, but the Double tree is the next best thing. After all, everything is bright and colorful just like in the parks, and there is even a store where you can buy disny products. They give you great cookies when you check in, and they definatly do all they can to compare to a disney resort. If I had to recomend a down town disney resort, this would be the one, but stay on Disney grounds if you can, itill be worth it." (4/03) stephanie moretti
