Disabilities - Getting to Orlando

It’s a good idea to contact your chosen Airline directly. Most of them will have their own ‘Special Assistance’ Department where the staff is specifically trained to deal with Customer’s ‘Special Needs’.
Whilst nothing can ever be guaranteed, you may have a better chance of having your requests met than by going through your Travel Agent.
When contacting the Airline give as much information about your disability as you can. They can’t help if they don’t know!!

Rental Cars

When choosing the car you wish to rent, take into consideration, trunk/boot space and height of step into the car/van. You can get a normal size ECV/Scooter (broken down) into the trunk/boot of a Mitsubishi Gallant, but very little else! By the same token, you could probably get 2 in the 8-seater vans.
If you have limited mobility, you may have difficulty getting into the 7 & 8 seater vans/mpv’s! A step is an absolute must for getting into this type of rental car!
