Where to Book?

Booking a family cruise is a very simple process no matter if you’re using a travel agent or making reservations for the desired cruise ship and destination online. But you are probably interested in where to book your family cruise to get the best deal. If so, you have come to the right place. Together, we will compare the best bargains.

Preferred by a growing number of travellers, online discount agencies don’t only offer lower prices (at least most of them) than their brick-and-mortar counterparts but they also offer various special deals and promotions, enabling you to get more for less. Now, there are many online discount travel agencies with some offering better deals than others. We have our favourites but we are also aware that there are new ones entering the online market on a virtually daily basis with even better deals. Therefore, we don’t want to wish to point out to any companies or web addresses.

We advise you to take some time to go through the offers of different online discount travel agencies and compare the offers. Be sure, however, to pay attention to what you’re getting because a lower price doesn’t necessarily indicate a better deal. If you’ll be charged extra for every slightest thing, you’ll probably end up spending more than you would by opting for a pricier but all-inclusive package.

Most cruise lines enable you to book a cruise directly at the nearest office or online. While it may seem a good idea to book directly at the chosen cruise line, keep in mind that this usually isn’t the best idea. It similar to booking a hotel. It is almost always cheaper indirectly. This is because travel agencies get rooms or in our case, cabins at a discount which allows them to offer lower prices and still make profits. They are aware that their offers need to be competitive not only in comparison to the cruise line but other travel agencies too, they thus seek to offer cruise packages at the most competitive rates possible. Booking your family cruise via a middleman or travel agency is thus typically cheaper than directly at cruise lines, no matter if you’re booking at your local brick-and-mortar agency or its online counterpart.
