"My parents and I had lunch here in May 2002. For counter
service, it was very good. The portions are big for a lot cheaper
than eating lunch in one of the restaurants. I had the Cantina Nachos,
which were very good. My dad had the Combination Plate and my mom
had the Tacos al Carbon. They enjoyed their meals, also, although
my mom did spend a lot of time feeding the funny birds. This is
a good place to do some people watching in the World Showcase, or
you can take one of the seats by the water, which is also nice.
On a fun note, the character bus drove past while we ate, which

"My husband and I have eaten at the Cantina every year for
5 years and it has been wonderful every time. The service and food
canmot be beaten and their prices are so resonable. We pay more
for our mexican food in Dallas. We will be returning for xmas bringing
our children and grandchildren and this will be where we will eat

Bakeri og Kafe (Norway)

Scandinavian sweets and sandwiches are available across the pavilion
courtyard at the Kringla Bakery and Cafe. Popular palate pleasers
include strawberry cake; a cloudberry-filled cream horn; Skol Bread,
a cream and coconut treat; and the trademark offering, the kringla,
a sweet pretzel. Norwegian beer also is available at the cafe.

"The Sommerfest is one of the best fast food choices in Epcot.
The bratwursts are very good and the sauerkraut is even better.
Good sauerkraut is hard to find in the USA, even at good German
restaurants including the best in Milwaukee. The kraut would have
been even better with caraway seeds but some people are allergic

Tangierine Café, located on the right side at the entrance of
the village-like showcase, specializes in quick-service specialties
such as shawarma, sandwiches made from shaved chicken, beef or lamb
that is slow-roasted on a rotisserie, served with hummus and taziki.

"For counter service, this is fast. No waiting, no lines!
We didn't have to worry about priority seating. The meals were enormous!
I couldn't see a bare spot on my plate! The rotisserie chicken is
perfect. The service is fast, friendly and helpful! None of us could
finish everything on our plates! We all sampled a little something
different. It was also nice that they didn't salt everything down
or over season anything. This would be a GREAT place to take my
Grandmother. The people are friendly and helpful and always smile.
Our family of four loved the Tangerine Cafe! I would definitely
go back again! We are going to visit Disney again next year and
will go back to The Tangerine Cafe on empty stomachs." (7/03)

Overlooking tranquil gardens, the Yakitori House features yakitori
(broiled skewers of chicken basted with teriyaki sauce) and beef
soba (paper-thin beef simmered in a spicy sauce and served with
noodles). Modeled after a teahouse in the Katsura Summer Palace
in Kyoto, the Yakitori House also serves such uniquely Japanese
desserts as green tea and ginger ice cream.

"This was the worst place have ever eaten at in my entire
life. Inside or Outside of Disney. I was truly disappointed. I would
never go there again even if I was starving. It's was counter service
so there was no wait. It was not particularly clean. When I was
leaving I looked around to see if I could tell if anyone else felt
like us. There were many half eaten plates. Disney trip Feb 23,
