"We gave our name at the desk and within 3 minutes we were called
to sit at our table. The waiter was friendly and did help
in any questions we had. The food was delicious. I always like
to try something different when going out to eat something
I could not get at home. I was not sorry and neither were
the other members of my family. You received plenty of food. If
any one left hungry it was their own fault. I would highly recommend
Tony's Rstaurant." Irene (8/05)
"My parents and I had dinner here in May 2002. We will definitely
be going back! We had a PS and we waited about half an hour to be
seated. That was okay, though, because I got to do a little shopping
next door! Also, they have Lady and the Tramp playing on a TV in
the lobby, which I think is an excellent idea, especially for those
with children. We were seated in the sunroom part of the restaurant,
which I thought was great because it was more casual and good for
watching the people in the square claim their spots for the parade.
Our waiter was super! Very efficient and friendly. The food was
great and you get a ton of it! My dad and I split the Fried Calamari
for an appetizer. It was very good - especially the tomato dip that
came with it. For dinner I had the Eggplant Parmesan and my parents
both had the Chicken Marsala. Every thing was excellent! However,
the large portions meant we were unable to sample dessert. Oh well,
maybe next time!" Shane
"Until I began planning this trip it had never occurred to
me that I had never eaten at a real Disney World restaurant, despite
being a frequent visitor and even a cast member one summer. Let's
see, I'd eaten at the Rainforest Cafe, not Disney, the House of
Blues, nope, and at numerous "quick service" locations, but I had
never sat down and had a real, full-service Disney meal. This had
to change!
So where do I start? Victoria & Albert's is out of the question,
so after a little research and consideration of my favorite resorts
I narrow it down to Narcoosee's, California Grille, and Jiko. I
quickly make priority seating arrangements at all three.
Plans change, and they all fall through. My sister and I are wondering
around the Magic Kingdom, hungry, in the early evening. I can't
get short notice seating anywhere, so on a whim I call WDW-DINE
and check availability at Tony's. Tada, an opening for two in half
an hour, just in time for Spectromagic.
We arrive early. Crowds are heavy and there's no where to sit. I
request a table on the patio and we get one quickly, only to find
that there was a mix up and the table was already taken. Thank you
Jeff, the friendly CM who QUICKLY acted to get us the next available
table, one with an even better view.
We got our drinks and appetizers just as the parade was starting.
This was my first time seeing it and, while Main St. Electric can
never be replaced and will be missed, Spectromagic is definitely
a do not miss.
The Calamari Fritti bread sticks hit the spot, but really were only
a teaser for what was to come. Jennifer let me try some of her Antipasto
salad and it was delicious as well.
I don't remember the name of my dish because it was either new or
has recently been taken off the menu, but it was a seafood dish
with shrimp, oysters, muscles, and other little sea critters over
fettuccine with marinara sauce. It was awesome! I had been eyeing
the spaghetti and meatballs which looks great as well, but I wanted
to go for something more exotic.
I washed it all down with a glass of tea that left something to
be desired and left comfortably full. Jennifer didn't finish all
her salad so we got one of those cute little Mickey to-go boxes
and made our way back to the monorail. This was a most-incredible
first Disney dining experience that I will never forget, worth repeating
on a date or an adult party of two.
Tony's is a great place. There were many families there but I don't
know if I'd take the kids (if I had any). Keep in mind that they
make all guests on the patio remain seated during the parade. Make
sure to do the whole priority seating thing. We got lucky!"

"BREAKFAST @ TONY'S TOWN SQUARE---This was to be our first
meal at one of the Disney parks and I was quite excited about eating
in a MK sit-down restaurant for the first time! Our PS was for 9am
and we were seated right at that time. Our server was Dawn and she
was very sweet. DH had the VEGETABLE FRITTATA WITH OJ and I had
the ITALIAN TOAST WITH A SIDE OF TURKEY BACON, A BOWL OF CANTALOUPE,
AND I ALSO HAD AN OJ. DH and I both enjoyed our meal and we loved
the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm just sorry I forgot to take
a picture. As we were leaving Tony's....there was a line out the
door and I just grinned and shook my head. We left about 10:30 or
so and the place was crazy! (Thank goodness for the PS) The cost
of our meal was $23.32 and with the gratuity of $3.50, that brings
the grand total to $26.82. DH and I however only used 2 DISCOVERY
WISHES!" Denise
"One restaurant that I really recommend in Tony's Town Square,
in the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. I think most people, in their
rush to get into the park, miss this restaurant."
