Reviews

"If you've never been to Palio, you're missing a great dining experience - one of the best in Walt Disney World, in my opinion. My family (4 of us, Mom, Dad, Corinna(she's 8) and me, Erin (i'm 13)) choose it on our first night at the Swan and it was great. We had no wait at all to be seated, something we would find rare for the rest of the trip (12/ 22 to 12/30). Everyone agrees that the service was fabulous. Our waiter, Nick, paid special attention to my sister, teasing her in a friendly sort of way. Dad and Mom both ordered the soup, according to them it was great (I got a little taste, and I agree!). Corinna had the Pizza. She's normally a very light eater, but she had almost 2 slices of a 4 slice personal pizza. Mom had the Mozzerella & Tomato appetizer which she says she enjoyed. Dad had a veal entree, which he says was good, an d I had the Chicken Cacciatore, which was...this is the best word I can think of...yummy! Overall we had a great meal, but Mom and Dad say it was slightly expensive. We would recommend it, if it fits your budget." Erin

"We had priority seating at Palio's, though we didn't need it. We were at WDW 12/1-12/16/01 and it was not a busy time at WDW. Our table was ready and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The table linens, china, atmosphere, etc. were beautiful. Meal started with a complimentary "boccalino" (small jug of wine) which the server explained is a tradition. We both had appetizers, I ordered a pasta that was a special that day and my husband ordered a gourmet pizza. The service was outstanding, the food delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the strolling violinist (Pat) who visited at our table and took requests which we tipped him for. The entire dining experience was completely wonderful and romantic. Sure, it's pricey, but we felt it was worth it, and we did not in any way feel ripped off. Highly recommend for a beautiful dining experience. P.S. The restrooms are elegant and have rolled linen hand towels in a basket instead of paper towels. Beautiful, elegant, very sophisticated! This is not a place to wear your Mickey t-shirt. Dress for dinner here." Mary

"If I could recommend ANY restaurant, it would be Palio's at the Swan. My husband and I (on our honeymoon) had the most delicious, and romantic, meal ever! It beat out the dinner we had at Citricos in the Grand Floridian."
