"This was the worst meal I have ever had anywhere. They changed their menu 2 days before we ate ther, so maybe that had something to do with it. The squash soup that the waitress raved about was lukewarm and in desperate need of seasonings. It was very bland. My husband had a filet that was overcooked and very small. We've had much better at Outback steakhouse (and that's not one of our favorite steakhouses either). I had pan-fried Flounder over risotto. The flounder was fine, although slightly fishy. The risotto was not completely cooked. It tasted like warm paste with hard lumps. It competely killed my appetite. We had looked forward to this meal for months and it was the worst $120 I have ever spent. The best thing I can say was that we had a lovely view of the fireworks. However, the next night the view was just as good from the boat docks." (12/02) SCJ

"We celebrated our 10th aniversary in WDW, and as a treat decided, on the recommendation of my brother and sister in law, to have dinner at Narcoosees. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to our 6 pm PS. We were seated within 3 minutes at a nice table overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon and had a lovely view of the Magic Kingdom. Our server, Lori approached us within minutes of being seated. She went over the wine menu in great detail, and even provided samples when we were between 2 different wines. We decided on the Fess Parker Reisling, which was delicious, albeit somewhat expensive...but it was our aniversary! For an appetizer, we decide d on the mussels steamed in Stout beer, onions and thyme. The presentation was as appetizing as the mussels. We highly recommend them! For dinner, my husband had the seafood pasta. A large portion with a large amount of seafood that he said was wonderful. I had the Sea Bass over Risotto. It melted in my mouth... I have never had such a tender, mild piece of fish. It was delicious. Our server Lori was attentive but not overbearing. She was very knowledgeable of the menus, both food and wine. We love the casual atmosphere at Narcoosee's. The view of the MK is magical, adding to the special ambience. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. We felt very comfortable here and would definitely return." (4/02) Belle

"Narcoosee's in a open, airy, restuarant set on the seven seas lagoon at the Grand Floridian resort. We had PS for 7:30, we arrived at 7:20, and were promptly seated with a wonderful window view of Cinderella's castle in MK. We watched the beautiful light show of colors on the castle thru out the evening. I enjoyed for an appetizer the Asian Chicken Confit, another in our party highly recommended the butternut squash & backfin blue crab soup- which after trying it I have to agree was heavenly. My DH had the smoked salmon which he also greatly enjoyed. For my main course I had the surf & turf- which was heavenly, my DH had the 2 maine lobsters, which he said were cooked to perfection. Another in our party had the "orzo" paella which he said was done "just right" and as he is Panamanian I guess he knows of which he speaks. For dessert I highly recommend the keylime crem brulee, however my DH prefers the earl grey cheese cake. Whatever you choose I have never had any complaints from anyone who we have brought to this wonderful restuarant! However be forewarned, this isn't a cheap date. However it is on the dining plan, and certainly a wonderful treat. I should also mention the view of the MK fireworks is superb, as well as a front row seat for the Electric Water Pagent on the 7 seas lagoon. The service here was perfect, and we left completely satisfied. A Wonderfully magical Disney dining experience! The ambience, food, service, & view make for priceless memories."
