Step into the quintessential Italian eatery. It's
just like the corner restaurant from the old neighborhood with wood
floors, red-and-white checkered tablecloths, grapevines hanging
from the rafters, plus posters and LPs from your favorite old Italian
crooners. The details in the dining room are certainly a treat for
the eyes. But, most of the atmosphere is served up for your other
senses. As soon as you enter, you take in the aroma of pizzas baking
in a wood-burning oven while big pots bubble over with piping hot
pasta and simmering marinara sauce. And the taste? Bravissimo! It
all makes for a wonderfully relaxing evening with lots of quirky
appeal.

"My family and I had a dinner package there for
fantasmic. I need to say the food was very good and you pleanty
of it . I would reccomand this resturant. We got there early and
they took us about 45 minutes early." (10/03) Rob
"we have eaten here at least twice and both times
were fantastic. We had priority seating and only had to wait 10 mins
to be seated. The service was great and the food fantastic, especially
the snickers cheesecake." (11/03) tracy
"We ate at Mama Melroses' as part of our Fantasmic
package. We had a PS for 6:10 and I think it took 20 minutes to
get seated. I was dissapointed that they did not have the standard
childrens menu for the kids to color. I had the chicken Marsala,
it was ok. The service was good. I think that this is one of the
best priced dinner places, our total bill was less than that of
the other restaurants we ate in." (6/02) Deb
"we ate at mama melrose on 12/4/01 & had a 3:50
p.m. priority seating & was seated by 4:00. The food over all was
ok, but nothing great. A salmon dish with a pesto covering gave
one of our guests an upset stomach & had to go back to the hotel,
missing fantasmic. service was another issue & VERY poor. After
sitting & asking for water, it took close to 20 min. to make it
to our table. our appetizers came but still no water. One of our
appetizers was wrong, & we started a bet to see how long it would
take to receive what we ordered. we all lost since the correct order
was never brought to our table, but we did finally get our water.
unfortunately our party was for 9 people & tip was automaticly added
in. place worth getting the fantasmic dinner package tickets, just
don't go in expecting to much. plan on the food being the same as
you would receive at your local pizza place." (12/01) jim wolf
