The old-world atmosphere is established dramatically as you enter
the magnificent wine cellar of an elegant chateau. Low ceilings
arch gracefully above you as lanterns flicker against great stone
walls
Canada's Le Cellier is welcoming guests to a cozy
restaurant featuring "Canadian steakhouse" fare -- favorites such
as wild mushroom-stuffed filet or buffalo rib-eye served with parmesan
"smashed" potatoes. For fish lovers, there's maple-glazed Canadian
salmon. And for dessert, a special butterfinger mousse with raspberry
sauce satisfies any sweet tooth.
The dining room is reminiscent of an old-style wine
cellar, complete with dark wood paneling and stone arches.

"The food was to die for. Like the name says
"steak" they deliver it fast and amazing. But parents
and kids out there.... don't get northern lights, its just pop,
and a light up ice cube, and after i came home i found the ice cubes
at a dollar store, instead of the six dollars we paid." (11/03)

"we had priority seating at this restuarnt but
we only waited about 15min. The food was great we both had steak
and it was made exactly how we ask and everything was hot and deliciouses.
The services was excellent our waiter was very freindly and he made
a point of checking on us often and keeping drinks filled. He got
us the recipe for the cheddar cheese soup which was the best we'd
ever tasted. and he talked to my husband for a while about the types
of beers they have. My overall opinion on this restuarant is that
it is the best one i've ever been to and I will most certainly go
back and recommend to all my freinds and family." (5/03) Barbara
"This restaurant is a new favorite! My parents
and I had dinner here in May 2002 and we will definitely return
on our next trip. We had a PS, but had to wait about 40 minutes.
That was the only down side. However, it was a nice night and the
Canadian pavilion is a very nice place to have to wait. The restaurant
itself is kind of dark, but very cozy, especially since we were
seated near the fireplace. The food was excellent. Without a doubt,
the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup is wonderful! Highly recommended.
However, the only downfall is that it only comes in a cup size,
so savor it! The three different kinds of breadsticks were an interesting
touch and quite tasty. Both of my parents had the 7 oz. Filet Mignon
and my mom was happy as a clam because she could get a side of Bernaise
sauce. I had the Rosemary Garlic Seared Chicken which was very good
- juicy and flavorful. We did not have room for dessert, but, based
on the rest of the food, I bet it would have been great. I thought
our service here was great. The waitress here was probably the best
one we had on the trip! She was very knowledgable, helpful, efficient
and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant." Shane
"The only thing that make me hesitant to make
a good review of dining at Le Cellier is that so many people will
go there and I won't be able to get a reservation. In all respect
to the staff, I must say this is one of the finest resturants in
DWorld. The service was fantastic, very friendly atmosphere and
it is difficult to praise one dish more than another. My highest
recommendation is the Canadian Cheddar Soup - it is do "fly for".
I travel several times a year to Disney and atleast ONE stop is
made at LeCellier each trip - just for the soup. Other reservations
are made for the pasta dishes, steaks and desserts. I met the manager,
Scott, and I think we will be friends for life - he actually gave
me the recipe for the soup!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I tried making
it, it cannot come close to the expert cuisine I've experienced
at the resturant. I used to rave about Cinderella's Royal Table
but by far - LeCellier is a FIVE STAR............" (11/02)

"We had priority seating for LeCellier but still
had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. However, once we were seated,
we very much enjoyed everything here. It's a very cozy, wine-celler
atmosphere with comfortable booths and lovely lighting. The food
was excellent, service was wonderful, and we had a great dining
experience. Highly recommend. Do not feel you need to dress up for
this restaurant. It's beautiful, but nearly everyone was in shorts
and t-shirts, so we were quite overdressed - I wore a dress and
my husband wore a dress shirt and slacks. I think pretty much anything
is acceptable here." Mary
"We ate at this restaurant in January 2000. This
restaurant was my husband's choice. It was great. The atmosphere
was nice (the tables a little close together though). We had priority
seating for 6:30pm and were told we would have a 20 minute wait
when we showed up at 6:15. We said ok we can catch the Canada movie
in the meantime. Well we didn't even get to the entrance of the
movie and the beeper went off so we only waited a couple of minutes.
*I had a salad and the surf and turf and an ice tea. My DH had the
cheddar cheese soup (I really wanted this but wasn't sure if I would
like it. Well I loved it when I tasted his) NY Strip steak, salad
and a glass of wine. *My DD (6yrs old) had the Spaghetti and meatballs
which was very good but she liked my surf and turf so much she had
half of mine and I had half of her spaghetti. *My DS (3 1/2) get
saying he wasn't hungry so we didn't order anything for him saying
that he can pick from us. We found out when we got home that he
developed a stomach virus and that is why he wasn't hungry. *The
service was wonderful
The bill came out to $89. Very well worth it and would definitely
eat here again." Josephine Raccuia
"Got right in before our Priority Seating time,
about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. We didn't know anything really
about this restaurant except to try the cheese soup. We had a really
nice waitress, of course they are all from Canada-she was just finishing
her internship at WDW and was set to leave in a few weeks. She was
great. You would have thought we would have ordered Steak--but we
just ordered the Chicken Breast Sandwich and a Steakburger Sandwich--each
coming with fries. My husband's chicken breast s/wich was about
the size of 21/2 c. breasts--huge, he barely ate all of it. My burger
was also huge--I couldn't eat all of mine. We probably would have
done a little better cleaning our plates if we hadn't each had a
bowl of the cheese soup---YUMMMMMMMMMY!! It might have been almost
90 outside, but that soup is delicious--not to mention the breadstiks
they put on your table and refill when you run out--they even ask
which breadstiks you like best (they have 3! different kinds on
your table to begin with) so they can make sure you get the kind(s)
you want. Talk about service. Again, I say pay a little extra once
a day and you won't be sorry. We weren't hungry til much later in
the day and then just had a snack. Definitely, check this restaurant
out, the garden leading to it is beautiful and the food terrific."
