The beauty and the mystery of the American Northwest
is recalled at Artist Point -- a specialty restaurant decorated
with dramatic landscape art from the era. The eatery offers an elegant
yet casual dining experience with a light wood design, a high-beamed
cathedral ceiling, and dormer windows allowing natural lighting
to illuminate. The windowed restaurant allows a panoramic view of
the courtyard, waterfalls and Bay Lake.
Traditional Northwestern specialties include sautéed
elk sausage, cedar-roasted wild king salmon, venison chops and pan-seared
rainbow trout. Additional cuisine includes Angus beef, smoked pork
chops and smoked prime rib.
Chef Anette Grecchi said fire roasting and hard-wood
grilling gives meats and fresh Pacific seafood a unique flavor.
A Washington State or Oregon wine completes the experience.

Reviews
"We chose this restaurant for our wedding dinner. It was great.
There were 10 of us, so we tried just about every entree on the
menu. I particularly enjoyed the smoked portabella mushroom soup.
My husband tried the free-range chicken and declared it the best
chicken he's ever had...and that's saying a lot. Roasted chicken
is his favorite meal. We had wedding cake to eat, so did not get
a chance to try any of the desserts although they looked fabulous.
We were very pleased with our choice of restaurants for our wedding,
especially after a truly horrible dinner at Narcoossee's. We had
priority seating, and arrived about 15minutes early. They seated
us within five minutes. Our waitress was very nice and everything
was promptly taken care of. This was impressive with 10 people all
wanting something different all the time. We would definitely eat
here again and whole-heartedly recommend the Artist's Point."

"Artist Point is elegant and the food is expensive, but worth
it. We ate here the first night we arrived because they fly salmon
in from Washington sTate and my husband is a big fan of salmon.
In the midwest where we live you don't get it very often and if
you do, chances are it isn't fresh, but frozen. The had appetizers,
a main course, wine and dessert and the billwas about $150.00 for
three of us." Debbie Maguire
"Artist's Point food was wonderful, especially the
sausage appetizer. I wish they could light the restaurant and exterior
so that you could see the beautiful landscaping at night from the
restaurant."
