Did You Notice...Hidden Attractions at Magic Kingdom

At night the castle changes colours, & sometimes has images projected onto it.

There is a flag ceremony daily at 5pm in Town Square, the flag is lowered while the band plays & doves are released.

'Kiss Goodnight' - each night at park closing, the castle changes colours, and 'When You Wish Upon a Star' plays. Walt Disney also speaks.

If you're looking for somewhere to throw your rubbish in Tomorrowland, you may just find the talking trash can who moves around!

Other static talking trash cans can be found in Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

There's an old music box in the Main Street Station waiting room that plays tunes when you put a quarter in it.

The meteors in Space Mountain are giant chocolate chip cookies & natural sponges.

In The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, see if you can spot a picture on the wall showing Mr Toad handing Pooh the deeds to the ride, on the left as you enter Owl's house.

As you enter the lobby of Cinderella's Royal Table, look up high on the wall to the right, and see if you can spot two little mice.

If you're passing the Haunted Mansion at night, look up above the door to the top floor of the house, and you might just see two shadows walking by holding a lantern.

The entrance to the Magic Kingdom is laid out like a theatre, with the ticket area like the lobby, under the railroad features the posters, with the train station as the curtain, stepping into Town Square you're in the show! Look up at the top floor windows along Main Street for the credits - the names of the people who were responsible for building the park. Walt's name is on the window above the ice cream parlor, Roy Disney wanted it there so he was always facing the castle.

On Tom Sawyer Island, if you find a paintbrush lying around, take it to a Cast Member and you may get a small prize!

Pay attention as you pass from land to land, look at how the walkway changes, and the sounds.

Look for Lady and the Tramp's paw prints in front of Tony's Town Square.

The 13 lanterns hanging from the Liberty Tree represent the 13 original colonies.

Take a closer look inside the Liberty Square Christmas Shop, it's actually designed to look like three separate shops owned by different families - a German family, Musician's family and a Woodcarver's family.

A wedding ring is embedded in cement on the floor outside of the Haunted Mansion as you exit.

Take time to read the tombstones outside of the Haunted Mansion, including the pet cemetary. One of the tombstones now comes to life for a brief moment.

Another one in the Haunted Mansion - when you're in the stretch room look up at the ceiling and spot the man hanging with a noose around his neck.

There are lots of hidden attractions in Minnie's Country House, if you see a button, press it! Listen to her answering machine, and take time to play in the kitchen.

Visit Tinker Bell's Treasures shop in Fantasyland and see if you can spot Tinker Bell herself flying around.

"Play a game of foosball, soccer, futball, whatever you want to call it at the main street train station lobby. There's also old movie viewing machines that work."

"Also by the Haunted Mansion where the carriage is look at the ground it has ruts where the carriage was driven and horse hoofs. Then in FrontierLand in Acraba square if you look on the ground theres jewels all over." (submitted 3/03)

"When you first get on the Doom Buggies at the Haunted Mansion, look up immeditely at the staircase. You may see something floating!"

"If you go on Buzz Lightyear Shooting game, try really hard. If you get the highscore your name is put on a board that you can see in the que on the way in. My High was '215980' in 2002."
