Only a Disney Cruise Line vacation gives your so many ways to
play together, and separately. Almost an entire deck is devoted
to kids, there's non-stop fun each day from 9 a.m. to midnight
for five age groups.
Flounder's Reef Nursery
Infants ages 3 months to 3 years will
enjoy life "under
the sea" at the Little Mermaid themed Flounder's Reef Nursery
-- the cruise industry's first nursery at sea. Trained counselors
entertain children with a variety of toys, books, videos, crafts
and games. Flounder's Reef Nursery is open select hours every day
during the cruise, allowing parents to explore adventures ashore
or enjoy adult-only areas onboard the ship.

Disney's Oceaneer Club (3 - 7)
It's not an official port of call, but children ages 3 to 7 may
feel like they've left the ship and arrived at Peter Pan's Never
Land during their stay at the whimsical Oceaneer Club. This child-friendly
oasis, themed to Captain Hook's pirate ship, contains a play area
with slide and rope bridge, a "captain's closet" filled
with costumes, toys and games, and an open seating area for arts,
crafts and movie watching. Counselors keep tots entertained with
activities ranging from dance parties to science experiments to
interactive story time. Popular activities include:
Ages 3 - 4
- A special moment with a Disney princess comes to life when
children share a dance with Snow White at Do Si Do With Snow
White.
- Sebastian's Musical Sea Search is a hunt for instruments;
once they're found, everyone has a place in the band for a big
concert!
- Cool down on Castaway Cay with Water Mania,
a splashy selection of games involving water balloons, sponges,
buckets and lots of water.
Ages 5 - 7
- Children can make a magical green goo and other interesting
creations during Professor Goo's Magical Experiments.
- The next great celebrity chef could be discovered at The
Junior Chef Experience, where children work together to
bake tasty Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies.
- On Castaway Cay, the Dig at Monstro Point leads
kids to discover the skeleton of a giant whale, shark teeth and
other fun artifacts.

Disney's Oceaneer Lab (Ages 8 – 12)
Kids ages 8 to 12 feel like they've gone to "infinity and
beyond" at the space and science themed Oceaneer Lab. Twinkling
star-like lights and giant planetary spheres fill the room along
with an oversized Buzz Lightyear figure. A bank of computers loaded
with games are available for children looking for some quiet time
or they can join Professor Goo at the interactive science lab and
participate in crazy experiments. There are also karaoke jams,
pajama parties, sports challenges, and more. Among the additional
programs available are:
Ages 8 - 9
- Flash your best TV smile in Now a Word From Our Sponsor,
which gives kids a chance to stand in front of a camera and produce
a commercial.
- A boat made of soap? It may sound silly, but it's the basis
of a fun Regatta Race where kids make mini boats out
of soap and other materials, then race them to find the fastest
in the fleet.
- At Castaway Cay, kids can go on an expedition to
find buried treasures, or cool off with Gotta Get Soaked,
a wet and wild competition between teams.
Ages 10 - 12
- Did you know that it's actually polite to burp after
a meal in China ? Learn about differences of other cultures during Culture
Shock, an interactive quiz game.
- A slip-sliding good time is waiting at the Mickey Pool during
the Splish & Splash Pool Party with games, music
and lots of water fun to keep children entertained.
- The Search for Atlantis is a quest around Castaway
Cay in search of special crystals that are the life source
of the mystical city -- the only catch is that the directions
on the ancient map are written in a lost language that will
have to be decoded!
The Stack and Aloft (Ages 13 – 17)
The Stack (Disney Magic) and Aloft (Disney
Wonder) -- located in the ship's faux funnel on deck 11.
It's open all day (and half the night) and packed with comfy
couches, a soda bar serving soft drinks and smoothies, internet
access, plasma-screen TVs, MP3 players loaded with popular music,
board games, and other chill-out necessities.
As if the cool gear inside wasn't enough, there are counselors
who organize a host of activities, from dance parties, to trivia
games, to teen-only excursions on Disney's private island, Castaway
Cay. Programs include:
- Explore the ship on Digihunt, a scavenger hunt using
digital cameras. Players will have to decipher Morse code, use
international flag codes, solve Disney trivia, and more to get
to the final prize.
- Get wet and wild with the H2O Splashdown -- a pool
party filled with games and races.
- Dance the night away at the moonlit Glow Jam, where
fashion accessories include glow sticks and bracelets or Flashback
'70s, '80s and '90s with retro hits of the past. It's the
perfect way to hang out, loosen up and get to know fellow cruisers.
- Hollywood , eat your heart out -- Shooting Stars just
may uncover a budding film star or director. Teens form a production
team, complete with costumers, camera operators, a director,
actors and actresses to produce a movie. The finished product
is even given a screening onboard.
- Teens snorkel, bike and kayak through Disney's private island, Castaway
Cay, to solve one of the island's best kept secrets during The
Wild Side -- an excursion just for teens.
- What do you get when you combine bamboo, rope and a group
of determined teenagers? A raft, hopefully! Whatever Floats
Your Boat has teams design, build and race rafts in a lagoon
at Castaway Cay. The first one to shore in one piece
wins!
Your kids will practically be begging to join their new friends
each day.
