Character meal comments

"Cape May Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Chef Mickey's are by far the BEST places for character meals!"

"We absolutely loved the Once opon a time breakfast. My son is autistic and loves Pooh the Chrystal Palace made him "chef of the day" and he got his own cake to decorate. We also got a great picture of him with all the Pooh characters. We ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner and watched the parade out the window it was great. ...Talk about occupying the kids so you can enjoy a meal! 1900 Park Fare breakfast Dopey we love you! You were the best with my son!" 8/00

"Fulton's Crab House is one of my favorite places for a character breakfast. It is a pleasant place, classy, has good food, and best of all you can see the original classics: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto."

"We have been to the Liberty Tree and Artist Point. I believe it to be more elegant at Artist Point and the service was a tad better as well. However, the food and characters were both excellent at each location. The ratings given each restaraunt,I would say, are fairly accurate."

"Cinderella's depends where you are seated for good pics. Photographing towards the window was not so good. Garden Grill was poor, with below average food, no choice. Chef Mickey's was great and better once they closed the huge blinds to stop photo glare. 1900 Park Fare dinner was nice also. had my birthday there:-)" Ivan

"The food at Chef Mickey's character breakfast is definitely nothing special but it is a great way to see a lot of characters in a short period without standing in line. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale all in an hour. The same with the Pooh characters at the Crystal Palace."

"1900 Park Fare - I was there in 1992 and it was very good, was there again in March of 1998 and the food was not as good. It was very disappointing to the children when Mickey and Minnie were the only two characters to show up. Will most likely not return. In March of 1998 went to the breakfast at Cinderella's Castle - Was able to see all the characters as they came right to your table to take pictures, etc. - The food was very good and it is worth the while. Would go again. Also in March of 1998 we went to Mickey's Tropical Lua. The food was excellent! This was a great experience and would have done it again on my next visit, although I understand that it has been cancelled. Have been to the Crystal Palace for lunch and dinner on several occasions. The variety of food and the character greetings were wonderful. Would recommend this to everyone."

"We think character meals are they way to go! Great food and the characters comes to us. No waiting. Wonderful way to accomplish two things at once!"
