For kids and teens, it's Never Never Land.
For adults, it's Shangri-la.

As you step off the ship directly into paradise at Disney's Castaway
Cay, you'll know you've arrived in a magical place.
Hop on a bike and live out your wildest Robinson Crusoe fantasies
exploring secluded white-sand beaches. Let us pamper you in rare
style in one of our open-air massage cabanas. Join us for a Bahamian
barbecue, or kick back with your favorite cocktail. In true Disney
fashion, this day-long island experience is one you'll never forget.
Castaway Cay (pronounced 'key') is Disney's own 1000 acre private
island, located in the Bahamas . Disney built a wharf on the island
so that the ships could moor there, rather than having the passengers
catch a launch boat to get to the island from the ship. Passengers
can get to the family beach by taking a tram or walking, a tram
takes you to Serenity Bay .

Located 225 nautical miles from Disney's year-round home port
of Port Canaveral , Fla. , Castaway Cay is a pristine island located
in the string of Bahamian islands named the Abacos. Stretching
3.1 miles long and 2.2 miles wide, Disney has developed less than
10 percent of the island, allowing the natural beauty to surround
guests at every turn.
Whether lounging on a sun-drenched beach, participating in a
variety of water sports or indulging in the ultimate island barbecue,
Castaway Cay offers an authentic tropical experience that every
member of the family thinks is just for them.
There are now more adventures than ever for guests to enjoy at
Castaway Cay, Disney's private Bahamian island.
Activities include banana boating, parasailing, bottom fishing,
deep-water scuba diving, off-shore snorkeling, a scenic glass bottom
boat voyage and a nature and kayak adventure.
On the dining front, guests can now indulge in fresh fruit buffets
and soft-serve ice cream bars.
Adults have never been happier with Serenity Bay Beach , where
they can stay all day, surrounded by fresh-grilled sandwiches,
tropical fruit and beverage bars and open-air massage cabanas overlooking
the sea.
At the family beach, those looking for some fun out of the sun
can take part in games such as billiards, ping-pong, basketball,
shuffleboard and foosball underneath a shaded recreation pavilion.
Whether lounging on a sun-drenched beach, participating in a
variety of water sports or indulging in the ultimate island barbecue,
Castaway Cay offers an authentic tropical experience with something
for everyone.
