Want to get up-close and personal with African wildlife?
• For animal enthusiasts, we offer half hour Serengeti Safari
tours daily. This open truck tour offers guests a unique look at
our Serengeti Plain habitat hosted by a Busch Gardens education
specialist. Encounter giraffes, zebra, antelopes, and other African
wildlife up close! This tour offers excellent photo opportunities.
• Tours go out five times a day:
· 11:15 a.m. (phone reservations available for this Safari
time ONLY)
· 1:00 p.m.
· 2:00 p.m.
· 3:00 p.m.
· 4:00 p.m.
• Serengeti Safari tour tickets are sold at Edge of Africa
Gift Shop and the Adventure Tour & Photo Center.
• Cost of the tour is $29.99 per person plus tax in addition
to park admission (Park admission is required to participate on
tour).
• Silver, Gold, and Platinum season pass holders pay a discount
rate of $27.99 per person + tax.
• There is NO discount for Florida Fun Card pass holders
(Bronze passport).
• Tours last approximately 30 minutes.
• Children must be a minimum age of 5 years old, children
under 5 are not permitted on the Serengeti Safari® tour due
to safety concerns.
• Due to the nature of the tour we can only accommodate one
wheelchair per safari. Please be sure to note presence of wheelchair
at time of reservation.
• Guests with advance reservations must arrive at the Guided
Adventure Tour Center, NO LATER THAN 10:30 a.m. on the day of their
tour. Guests arriving later than that run the risk of losing their
reservation.
• Guests must meet at the Edge of Africa gift shop 15 minutes
before the schedule tour.
• A credit card MUST be given at time of reservation. Tours
must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours in advance or total payment
will be forfeited and a tour voucher will be issued.
• Telephone reservations prior to the date of visit are available
for the 11:15 tour only.
