All-Star Music Resort Introduction

Sounds set the scene at Disney's All-Star Music Resort at Walt Disney World Resort. The musically themed resort doesn't "miss a beat" with giant banjos, guitars, trombones, conga drums and maracas boldly greeting guests. A collection of three-story buildings with themes like Broadway, calypso, jazz, country and rock 'n' roll make up the 1,920-room hotel.

Top hats, musical notes, and an oversized Broadway show marquee complete with "chorus line" dancers add to the facade at Broadway. Giant amplifiers, speakers, microphones and a neon-lit, oversized juke box "rock on" at the Rock Inn.

Families will enjoy the whimsy of this comic-book-colored resort, along with modest rates of $77-$124, based on season. Most rooms sleep a family of four. Handicapped-accessible rooms also are available.

The hotel is located adjacent to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, east of Disney's Animal Kingdom and next door to Blizzard Beach, a ski-themed water park which adds a whole new array of "winter" sports to the area with its "snowy" mountains and watery bobsled runs. Convenient bus service transports guests to all parts of Walt Disney World Resort.

The beat goes on throughout Disney's All-Star Music Resort with Melody Hall for check-in and guest service facilities; Intermission Food Court with pasta, pot roasts, chicken and burgers; Maestro Mickey's retail store; and Note'able Games arcade.

Families can cool off at one of two themed pools -- one in the shape of a guitar, the other a grand piano. Singing Spirits pool bar offers light food and drinks by the guitar pool.
