Where are the All-Star Resorts?
The Resorts are located near the Animal Kingdom park and Blizzard
Beach water park. The three Resorts are next to each other.
What is the difference between the Resorts?
Each Resort has a different theme - sports, music or movies. All-Star
Movies Resort is the newest of the three.
Are the rooms in the main building?
No, the rooms are in ten separate buildings at each Resort.
What is in the main building?
The main buildings at each Resort house Guest Services, Front Desk,
Food Court, Shop, and Games Arcade. They are -

All-Star Music - Melody Hall
All-Star Movies - Cinema Hall

Each Resort has 5 themed areas, each with two buildings. Each area
has a different theme -
All-Star Sports - Surf's Up!, Hoops Hotel, Center Court, Touchdown,
and Home Run Hotel.
All-Star Music - Calypso, Jazz Inn, Rock Inn, Country Fair, and
Broadway.
All-Star Movies - 101 Dalmatians, Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, The Love
Bug, and Toy Story.
What will I find in my guest room?
All Guest Rooms feature two double beds or one king-sized bed, in-room
wall safe, table and chairs, dresser, TV, clock radio, vanity area
with sink, and a separate bathroom. Irons, ironing boards and hairdryers
are available from housekeeping upon request. Refrigerators are
available for $10 per night.
How many people can each room accomodate?
Standard rooms have a maximum four-person room occupancy.
Where are the best room locations?
If you want to be close to the food court, shops, and bus stop,
these buildings are nearest the main hall -
All-Star Sports - Surf's Up.
All-Star Music - Calypso.
All-Star Movies - 101 Dalmatians, Fantasia, and Toy Story.
Although they are close to everything, they may therefore be noisier.
Request a second or third floor room, which should be quieter.a

Some rooms come with deluxe views of pools
and themed courtyards, whilst others have views of the parking lots.
What are 'preferred' rooms?
There are two types of room offered - standard or preferred. Preferred
rooms are in the buildings nearest to the main hall - Surf's Up,
Fantasia and Calypso. The preferred rooms cost $10 extra per night.
Which rooms are smoking?
The following buildings house the smoking-optional rooms-
All-Star Sports - Hoops Hotel building #3, Surf's Up! building #1,
and Home Run Hotel building #9.
All-Star Music - Calypso building #1, Jazz Inn building #9, and
Rock Inn building #3.
All-Star Movies - Mighty Ducks building #3, and Fantasia building
#8.
Are Disney soaps and shampoos provided in each room?
No, they are no longer provided in individual bottles like at the
other Disney Resorts. Instead, shampoo and shower gel are in a wall-mounted
dispenser.
What happens at check-in?
You'll receive your room key (plastic card), a small 'guidebook',
park maps, and a copy of 'Legend', the resort's newsletter. You'll
also have the option of leaving credit card details so that you
can charge anything you purchase during your stay to your room card.
Are there childcare facilities?
No, there are no onsite childcare facilities. Kindercare offers
in-room babysitting. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance.

Is there a games arcade?
Yes, there is an arcade at each resort - Note-able Games, Reel Fun,
and Game Point Arcades. They are located in the main lobby areas
across from the food courts.
Where can I find Disney transportation?
The bus stop is located on the East side of the main building.
There are direct buses to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach. Another bus goes to Typhoon Lagoon,
and Downtown Disney.
Where are the nearest ATM locations?
ATMs can be found in the Resort lobby areas. Additional ATMs are
located at each theme park, the Downtown Disney Area, as well as
all Resorts (lobby area).
Where can I purchase stamps and where is the mailbox?
Stamps may be purchased in Sport Goofy, Meastro Mickey's or
Donald's Double Feature. Mailboxes are located near the telephones
in each Resort lobby.
Where can I make dining priority seating arrangements or purchase
tickets?
Priority seating for most Walt Disney World restaurants can be made
by touching the WDW DINE button on your in-room phone or by visiting
Guest Services. Theme Park tickets are available at either the front
desk or Guest Services.
Can I rent boats?
No, there is no boat hire or marina at the All-Star Resorts.
Is there a swimming pool?
There are pools at each resort.
All-Star Sports - Surf Board Bay Pool and the kiddie pool are located
behind Stadium Hall. Grand Slam Pool is located in the infield of
Home Run Hotel.
All-Star Music - Calypso Pool and the kiddie pool are located behind
Melody Hall. Grand Piano Pool is located between Rock Inn, Country
Fair and Broadway.
All-Star Movies - Fantasia Pool and the kiddie pool are
located behind Cinema Hall. Duck Pond Pool is located in Mighty
Ducks.
What time is the pool open?
The pools are open from 8:00am to 12:00 midnight and are guarded
from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Hours are subject to seasonal changes.
Are towels available by the pool?
No, you need to take them from your room.
Are there any shops at the Resort?
Yes, the shops are located just off the lobby areas in each
Resort.
Sport Goofy at All-Star Sports; Maestro Mickey's at All-Star Music;
and Donald's Double Feature at All-Star Movies.
They feature a selection of Character merchandise, men's, women's,
and children's themed apparel, swim accessories, sundries, snacks
and beverages.
Where can I buy groceries?
A limited selection of snacks and beverages are available in
the Resort shops and food courts.
Where can I dine at the Resort?
Each Resort has a food court offering a selection of meals and snacks.
All-Star Sports - End Zone Food Court.
All-Star Music - Intermission Food Court.
All-Star Movies - World Premiere Food Court.
Is room service available?
Pizza delivery operates between 4:00pm to 12:00 midnight.
Is there a character breakfast?
No, there are no character meals at the Resorts.
Where can I get refillable mugs?
From each Resort Food Court.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is after 4pm. For early travellers, every effort will be
made to get you settled in as soon as possible.
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is before 11:00am. Later check out may be requested.
Express check-out is available to guests with American Express,
MasterCard, Visa, Disney Credit Card, Discover, Diners Club or JCB.
Where do I get...?
Extra pillows, & blankets, bed rails, baby cribs, handicap aids,
extra hangers, towels, refrigerators, coffeemakers, or any other
sundry items are available from Housekeeping.
Where do I find the ice machines?
Ice and vending machines are located on each floor of every building.
Is there a guest laundry?
Coin operated washers and dryers are located in each pool area.
For valet service, laundry bags are available at luggage. Same day
service is available if laundry is dropped off at Luggage Service
by 8:30am. Service available 7 days a week.
Is luggage assistance available?
If you need assistance with your luggage, the luggage service continually
delivers luggage to multiple rooms based on availability, rather
than individual service. Upon check-in, please leave your baggage
with the Luggage assistance staff in front of the Resort. Take any
items you would like to keep with you and they will be delivered
as scheduled. To make arrangements for your departure, contact the
Luggage sevrice the night prior to departure to schedule your pick-up.
If I use the package delivery service in the parks, where do
I pick them up?
If you shop at any merchandise location at the Magic Kingdom Park,
Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or
the Downtown Disney area, and choose to have your packages delivered
back to your resort, they can be picked up the following day after
12:00 noon at the Resort shop.
Does the Resort have wheelchairs available for guest use?
Yes, a limited number of wheelchairs are available at Guest Services.
There is no charge, but a credit card guarantee may be required.
A limited number or wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are available
to rent at the theme parks.
