The 1,293 guest rooms include 980 first class, 294 deluxe, 17 one-bedroom
suites, one Presidential suite and one Vice Presidential suite.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will offer many guests a view of
the 100 grazing animals and 130 birds on the property’s private
reserve. Accommodations, offered in a range of sizes, are finished
in rich tapestries and vibrant colors. Guest rooms feature jewel
tones and hand-carved furnishings. "Royal Suite" reaches new heights
with a domed, hut-like living room fit for a king.
Standard Guest Rooms have two queen-size beds, one king-size bed
or one queen-size bed and bunk beds. Deluxe rooms have either one
king-size bed and a day bed, one queen-size bed, bunk beds and a
day bed, or two queen-sized beds and a day bed. All rooms also have
table and chairs, ceiling fan, bathroom with private commode, and
data port on phone. Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms are
available. Guest suites are also available. Standard rooms are on
floors 1-4, deluxe rooms are on floors 5 and 6.
Amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, hair dryer, iron and
ironing board, and 27" television. Coffeemaker and refrigerator
available upon request.
There are various views available- Standard view (parking lot),
pool view, Savannah view, deluxe pool view, deluxe savannah view.
The standard room size is 344 sq feet, deluxe rooms are 381 sq
feet. There are also 51 concierge rooms available.

Best rooms
There are three savannahs - Arusha, Uzima & Sunset.
The AKL building is divided into trails - Zebra Trail, Ostrich Trail,
Kudu Trail & Giraffe Trail. Some animals are not on all savannahs,
so if there's a particular animal you would like to see from your
room, make sure you check before you request a room on a certain
trail.
Sunset Savannah - Bongo, Male Giraffe, Ostrich, Impala, Thompsons
Gazelles, Ankole Cattle, Waterbuck, Stork, African Crown Cranes,
Blue Cranes.
Arusha Savannah - Giraffe, Pelicans, Zebra, Geese, Ankole cattle,
Wildebeast, Eland, Gemsbok.
Uzima Savannah - Bongo, Giraffe, Impala, Thompsons Gazelles, Kudu,
Blesbok.
